This tune for big band is a blues in the Count Basie Style. In this excerpt we'll hear first the Shout Chorus, present after the individual solos in a traditional structure, and then the last main theme. This kind of piece would work great with a scene needing a more traditional jazz tune.

Count Bluesy (Extract)

Inspired by cutscenes and gameplay from the game Alice: Madness Returns, this piece exposes a musical motive expressing the main character's mental and emotional instability. The use of a classical resource of the "horror music", the prepared piano, accentuates the dark and melancholic feel of the composition.

Into Madness Again

This piece was inspired by gameplay from the game Obscure: The Aftermath. Within a general stressing and menacing ambience, we alternate between an escape situation and a combat situation. The main theme and its variations also go from an instrument to another, always accompanied by persistent rhythms and drums.

This piece was inspired by gameplay and cutscenes from the game Alice: Madness Returns. Because it has been conceived as a music and audio piece by itself, it is built around an ostinato and, in the middle, a sound scene has been inserted prioritizing the ambient music and the sound design.

The Doll House

Influenced by the sound of the Synthwave from the '80, this tune mixes a light theme with dystopia sounds found in action tunes. In the middle section, different electronic percussion with a modern touch are used, giving more weight and power to the piece.

Flashback

This peaceful piece is inspired by a futuristic, low poly, exploration/FPS game. Despite the short length of the piece, the idea behind its conception was a slow build up, starting with a calm and dreamy synth, gently introducing orchestra strings and evolving to a magnificent, yet a bit nostalgic, theme played by a violin solo.

Future Lands

Inspired by jazz as a starting point, this tune features acoustic and electric instruments recorded live. The main theme is light and descriptive. For the improvised solo section in the middle, an electric violin refreshes the sound while an unusual bass line is executed with the "tapping" technique. The folk acoustic guitar gives brightness to the piece while an acoustic strings quartet gives warmth to the solos section.

Long Way Down

Following the retro tendency of our time and guided by the nostalgia for the video games from our childhood, this 8 bit tune with a powerful theme could fit an action 2D platformer. Its different parts carefully crafted can be looped to fit a longer gameplay or, as is, it can be used on a main menu or game introduction.

Created for a TV Documentary, this track lays an underground atmosphere flowing and evolving between dark colors and more hopeful yet charged notes.

Created for advertising a luxury watches brand, this track starts with subtle sound design and evolves to a Christmas joy mood.

Winter Magic

Created for advertising a watches brand, this track emphasizes the modern side of the product and its nobleness with a fully orchestrated theme. The same theme is re-utilized, in a more intimate way, on the second part, which is a "making of" of the commercial.

Hoot

Created for advertising a watches brand, this track describes the vast infinity of outer space while emphasizing the luxury of the product.

Constellation

Influenced by techno music, this tune mixes a melancholic melody with bright sounding instruments. A piano is present the whole time, making it possible to consider the tune as an acoustic piano piece. For the first bridge a guitar appears bringing air to the composition, while for the second bridge a surprise breaks it to a whole new mood.

Deceive

Inspired by comics, movies and video games heroes, this piece is based in an epic sound with large orchestra and percussion ensembles, typical of action movies, games and trailers. The middle section features a kind of tribal/warrior scream made by layering several takes of voices and treating them to differ each other. The "lead chair" strings have been recorded in order to achieve a more organic, natural sound when combined with virtual instruments.
