Out of Sight, Out of Mind

My second Indie Rock single of 2023 depicts the scenario of losing contact with someone special and addresses the sorrow that comes with imagining life without them. Its catchy oohs and country-rock guitar carry the track through a journey more joyful than the lyrics would portray.

It's Been a Year

A long-lost letter from the past, written by Calum to himself during one of the darkest times of his life. Closing 2023 with a bang, 'She Loves You' comes as the epilogue of a trilogy of tracks, concluding Cal's work for the year 🙈 🗓 🖤

Callow Cal is the creative project of Glaswegian singer/songwriter, Calum Shaw. Exploring genres since 2018, his music has an ongoing use of storytelling and explores themes of escapism, addiction, and self-help, while referencing personal experiences and life lessons learned along the way. This is particularly apparent throughout his 2023 releases, exploring personal reflection and development.
