Athenian Aggelos Baltas has been producing music for more than 15 years, with his Anatolian Weapons project gathering both local and international praise for its bold blend of disparate styles and influences, spanning a wide spectrum of psychedelic and global dance music.

Resident DJ at key points Astron Bar and Bios in his hometown, he also plays regularly at clubs all over Europe, while making acclaimed mixes for platforms like Digital Tsunami, Knekelhuis, Les Yeux Orange, or Sameheads.

In demand remixer, he restlessly re-edits, reworks or brings to life fertile collaborations, with his musical style being praised from respected publications such as The Wire. He releases on high profile labels such as Beats In Space, Emotional Response, Dark Entries, Invisible INC, Dekmantel, Lurid Music, Byrd Out and Kame House among others

@aleksandrl : I tried to revive my childhood memories and made the mix as a Twin Peaks (and again) episode. The main themes are on the intro and outro. Inside there are some scary tunes but also some funny, shiny tunes. There’s something a bit mystical. Rhythm is also there. A few yells from kids and some spoken word. I was trying to leave it somewhat chaotic and give more freedom to the listeners. Like Lynch was doing in every episode of his show.

Their first guest mix comes from @dana.sonic (they/them), an artist working on the Haldimand Tract (aka Waterloo, ON, Canada). Inspired by the CFRU radio show "Neighbouring Sounds", Dana blends their own field recordings with walrus and weddell seal calls, an aurora borealis folk tale, and music from southern Ontario's underground.

Having resided in Switzerland for the past 5 years, she recently co-founded Planting Solidarity, an international collective that promotes food and land solidarity through collective knowledge exchange, participatory research, and the facilitation of events/workshops. Her first ambient mix is inspired by this summer's explorations; a journey through the intersections of healing and landscapes that blurs daydreams and reality.

She's also the co-founder of @unseen_berlin, an intersectional collective that creates parties, DJ peer-exchange workshops and zines, with the aim of uplifting community spirit in our music scene.
