We're very happy to welcome Antoine to the series. He might operate under the radar but maintains a busy schedule as a heavy contributer to the French scene. He co-heads the well-known Positive Education Festival in Saint-Etienne and the respected Worst Records label as one half of the Les Fils de Jacob crew. He also forms part of the Ultra Low Velocity project together with A Strange Wedding. His solo work enjoys releases on Comic Sans Records, Public Systems Recordings, as well as others. His diverse projects and disciplines can be felt in his selection for the series as they stray completely from any specific genre and can merely be described as elements of trance, dub, electronica, ambient with a psychedelic twist. Starting our intergalactic journey this year with Leipzigs finest Dj Detox aka Gnista, not only resident at Mjut but also night manager and part of the orga  team behind the club. Born in the Osterzgebirge, Dresden raised and now based in Leipzig he is providing us with various releases on labels such as R.A.N.D, Uncanny Valley, F.T.P, Mechatronica & Brokn Toys, to name a few. He first made contact with making music by playing guitar in several small band projects, from there he started to collect dubstep vinyls and later figured out how to produce his own beats with Ableton. Since 2011 he has been inspired and teached a lot by Steve Kasper aka Steve.e and the Sub Sickness Crew from Dresden. Now his unique style ranges from electro breakbeats over to uk garage and jungle sounds all the way to classic house. We are very happy to kick off the year with this machine warrior on january 7th, 6pm CET!

We start off this year's series with Anatolian Weapons. This DJ and producer from Athens has been releasing acclaimed work for over a decade on labels like @darkentriesrecords, @emotional-response, @luxrec, @dkmntl, with a recent release on the local @traumgarten's first VA. While his most known alias focuses on slo-mo trance, his @fantastikoihxoi moniker focuses on traditional music from the greater region of Greece and @dreamweapons_23 on EBD and Acid. The multidisciplinary producer's music is regularly played by @lenawillikens, @phuong-dan, @vladimir Ivcovic, and many others. Strap in for 60 minutes of ethereal bangers that spans trance, acid with hints of big beat, and techno. Lock in!

For our next episode we invited Ambient-Dadaists Technik AG. With their hybrid live-set between turntablism and synthesizing these two sound designers creat dynamic soundscapes with floating textures and sharp contrasts. Besides drones and beats you will also recognise obscure voice samples and field recordings, impulsively arranged, somewhere between techno and musique concrète.
