Monatliche Veranstaltungsreihe von djversity! im Pierre Grasse, Halle (Saale)

Wer erhält welche Slots um bei Veranstaltungen aufzulegen oder live zu spielen? Der Übergang und die Etablierung auf Bühnen kann für manche Personen und Musikrichtungen schwierig sein. Die Veranstaltungsreihe versucht, verhärtete Strukturen und Konventionen in der Musikszene aufzubrechen und bietet DJs oder Live KünstlerInnen mit wenig oder keiner Bühnenerfahrung den Raum, sich in angenehmer Atmosphäre auszuprobieren. Kommt zu SLOTS und werdet von neuem musikalischem Input überrascht. 

Meldet euch gern bei Julia und Elisa von djversity!, wenn Ihr Interesse habt, bei der SLOTS Reihe aufzutreten.

Monthly event series by djversity! at Pierre Grasse, Halle (Saale)

How are SLOTS for DJs and live artists booked, who gets them? Transitioning and establishing on stage can be difficult for some people and also for some music genres. This event series tries to break solidified structures and conventions in the music scene. It offers DJs and live artists with little or no stage experience a platform and space to try themselves out in a relaxed atmosphere. 
Come to SLOTS and get surprised by new musical input.

This month, for the first hour Demord Enregistrements proposes to you a fresh recording from ⅔ of Kikkogal : Delphine Demord & Faïza. This mix was recorded during their “Nuit Tranquille” party on February 11 @ Le Chinois. Expect some dubby-dubby tunes, noisy transitions from outer space and heavy breaks. 

For the second hour, Delphine invites her longtime dear friend : DJ Osef from Metz (their teenage spleen city). She provides a mix with a lot of saturation, sounds of guns, jungle and turbine. Artists are essentially Flinta, queer and/or racialized. Kaboom !

"TBD : To Be Defined" est un podcast hébergé par la radio l'Aléatronome et écrit par Camille Herzmann, qui observe et démêle les nœuds de la filière musicale et des milieux festifs. 
Le premier épisode porte sur la billetterie : entre macro et micro, ses tensions et ses enjeux, complété par une interview avec Nils et Clémence du festival Coucool. On parle aussi de Tentacular, un format de soirée porté par le collectif Au delà du club, du collectif londonien Pussy Palace et du Sénat Culture de Berlin.

On May 04. Dj Annita hosted the third edition of "uncut gems" on callshopradio. Dj and radiohost porpoise joined as our guest and talked about dubstep and the music scene in leipzig in the early 2000's. She also prepared a Dj set with some dubstep classics from her vinyl collection.

Co-fondatrice de Cringecore, Crypto Soso est une artiste aux multiples facettes qui s'intéresse à disséquer les influences musicales avec une assiduité scientifique. UK bass, electro or hard dance sont parmi tant de genres susceptibles d'être entendus dans ses dj sets punchy et soigneusement concoctés. Mais attention, ne soyez pas trop sur de ce qui va vous arriver, Crypto Soso aime beaucoup experimenter!
Soso nous a donc ramené un bout de son set au prestigieux Montreux Jazz festival pour cette episode. Fidèle a elle meme, on navigue entre les BPM et les influences pour se retrouver dans les méandres de la flore de la musique électronique.
La premiere heure est donc consacrée a ce mix suivit d'une selection cold wave/new wave venant de mon donjon.

SIM pushes the boundaries in Dancehall, Techno and UK Garage fusions. His work has been noted around the world, from the US to Jamaica, to the UK, highlighting key elements of the Hardcore Continuum. Taking up the sound theories of Lee 'Scratch' Perry, King Tubby and Dave Kelly or Techno pioneers such as Plastikman or Jeff Mills, SIM explores the relationship between space, body and sound.

It was in 2018 with the release of 'Pu$$ycat' with the Catalans duo Crimen Pasional that SIM was heard on a global scale. Since then, the Montreal producer has released more than 50 works, including several collaborations with 45Diboss, Epic B and Toumba, as well as remixes with Poirier, Leïla Lanova and Mina, among others. SIM was able to undertake several tours, including an American one in 2018, as well as in Europe in 2019, 2022 and a next one in 2023.

His latest releases include ‘Trance End’ on the French Label Riddim Supplies,  'SINNAZ EP' with the Colombian via Mexico NAP on the ISLA Records label, 'Hollow' on the NH V/A Vol. 4 by Nervous Horizon, and 'Terminate EP' on the same label.
