Elizen the Emperor at Plan:et C / Fusion Festival 2021

Once upon a time, two little foxes were barbecuing at a fire place. Holding their corn sticks over the fire and waiting for it to pop. But suddenly, the sky turned darked. The foxes knew that the wolves appeared. It was a dark night for everyone. As the morning sun arrived the two little foxes saw their corn sticks burning in the fire. They loved their corn sticks very much and felt very sad. The foxes looked each other in the eye and decided to dance. Dance and sing to the reason of love. And everyone gathered and they danced. Everyone was happy. The end.

Here is the set I played at the beautiful Firespace stage of this years' Fusion Festival on Thursday night - thank you so much to the beautiful audience who went on this journey with me, to my amazing friends who were there to support me, to Tom and Uli for the invitation - and of course to the incredible firedancers!! I loved coming back and playing in the dark this time around; watching you move to my favorite music was such a magical experience <3 And a special shoutout to Amrei who happily jumped on my spontaneous ode to women, bringing all those talented female dancers out on the floor to one of my alltime favorite tracks <3 <3 <3

A fusion of who I was and what I'm becoming.
Like navigating the musical path that brought me there this day...

I played at 10am on Thursday. It was sunny and warm, the morning felt sweet like sugar in oatmilk.
So when I arrived on stage with my coffee, I wanted to launch the day with some kind of a morning routine groove, a bit like what I do when I'm home.

It was hot but the coffee had ice. 

Tried not to play the same song twice.

The beach was full, felt like everyone was there. 

Clothes left behind, skin was bare. 

The records crackled but they are old.  

In the kiosk postcards sold.

Naturist fusionists totally free.

For FUN FUN SUN it was the place to be.

...Es war einmal im Raumfahrthafen Begonistan…mit Hang zum Übermut, einem begradigten Dancefloor zwischen Obstbäumen und eingebettet in ein idyllisches Tal, fand sie statt – die discoide Maimorphose der Schnuppengang. 💫 Ein längst vergessener Feldweg führte die Gäste zu diesem verwunschenen Ort, an dem alle Emotionen frei ausgelebt werden konnten – sofern man der Sage Glauben schenken möchte.
Mit viel Sekt, Glitzer & SchnuppenDisco ging’s dort bis in die sonnigen Morgenstunden🌞
…und wenn Sie nicht aufgehört haben, tanzen sie wohl immer noch 🕺
