Nobody Listens To Techno

Feel Good Inc. is a single featured as the sixth track on the 2005 album Demon Days.

"Feel Good Inc." charted high in most European countries (including an at-the-time career best of #2 in England, accompanied by a chart run to rival Clint Eastwood's 4 years before). In the US, aided by an iPod commercial featuring the song, and presence on the latest successful "Now" compilation, "Feel Good Inc." took Gorillaz to a whole new level - the track peaked just outside the top 10 in the Billboard Top 100, and it was also top of the Modern Rock charts for a 3 week spell. In the UK, due to a loophole in the chart rules, Feel Good Inc was able to enter the charts before its official release because the record company released 300 copies of the 7-inch single format, meaning that legal downloads would count towards a chart placing for the single ( this was because, according to UK chart rules at that time, a single could only chart if a physical format was available, although download sales contributed to chart placings). A total of 4 new and original songs were available across formats, although "Murdoc is God" was only included on the Japanese CD. The feel of the B-sides was more free and experimental than that of those that had appeared on 'Demon Days' - showcasing another side to the Gorillaz sound. Also, "Feel Good Inc." makes an appearance in Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party 3 on Wii And Grand Theft Auto 5 On Xbox One, Playstaion 4 And PC Versions.

It's always special when this man comes to town! VIVA, Madtech and WOW! Recordings producer Latmun continues a form few months with a brand new four tracker on Leftwing & Kody's Lost Records. Joining the rising producer on the release is Hot Creations and Moda black artist Russ Yallop, a man that needs little introduction. Yallop provides his own interpretation of lead cut 'Cosmic'. Manchester’s Rudosa has been crafting his sound for the last decade. In that time, he has been a Sankeys Manchester resident DJ and has had a number of releases on the Stereo Productions, Deeperfect and Wow! Recordings labels. 2018 has been solid for the man, with the release of his 'Invasion' EP on Carl Cox’s Intec and another 4 track EP on Suara which drew support from techno luminaries Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer, Amelie Lens and Charlotte De Witte.

December brings a new record on Alan Fitzpatrick’s We Are The Brave. ‘Activated’ is a three-track smasher with the high energy you expect from Rudosa. The title track immediately draws you in with its captivating vocal stabs. ‘Hypoxia’ has a similar vibe with more resonating vocals and rippling melodies. Whilst ‘It’s Time’ is a more celestial groove and can be pre ordered now on Beatport.

After making his debut on the very first Prospekt EP two short years ago, we are proud to have Gary Burrows as part of the Respekt family, and to welcome him back for his fourth outing on the label.
'Something You Need' is classic Burrows, with a rave-inspired riff and bassline married to a classic vocal snippet and pummelling drums. Hungarian duo Steam Shape take on the mantle of remixing the beast, and do so with acidic aplomb.
Track two is another vocal led cut in the form of 'Keep On'. Slightly (but only slightly!) more laid back than the A-side, this one brings in lush pads to add another layer to the formula. The second remix comes courtesy of Luca De-Santo, who whizzes up the parts with some nasty saw riffs and sharp percussion.
