Over the last 3 months I've been working on this track on the side. I started this one the week before christmas with some bass layers that came to me over night. So it's not a quick fix. 
But then I found the gorgeous work of Jenny. Working on the tracks with Jenny took a lot of energy and I also had other ideas for "Ambient Signs" or "Telefono shooting".
This track is the most differentiated I made so far. I will not always be so persistent and creative to make so many layers. But here I think something quite nice came out. I really took time to listen carefully to other tracks like that to catch the vibe. And I even bought another synth for this one.

A long night

New track by Calpaina3, an artist at the forefront of the label, with a Tech-House release with great groove, combined with the eclectic and innovative sounds that distinguish him by continuing to prefer crooked melodies that always keep them in relief with originality and the desire to express his emotions. And he succeeds at it really well, his music is danceable on the dance floor and makes the mind travel freely. Mixed and mastered by Mauro Fiore in Reap Studio.

Prepare for an immersive musical odyssey as we unveil the next chapter of our podcast series, one that’s been a long time in the making. This episode hits close to home, not just because of the music, but because of the story behind it and the artist at the heart of it. This one means a lot to us. As a label that’s been growing for just over five years now, there are certain artists who’ve shaped our journey long before we even knew we’d start one. DJ Caspa @tundecas41 is one of those djs. We’ve been listening to his sets for more than a decade, long before the idea of launching this podcast series was even a thought. And if there’s one thing that’s stayed consistent all these years, it’s the sheer quality of what he delivers. But Caspa’s story runs even deeper. He picked up mixing at around the young age of 16, and from that moment on, music became a life path. Growing up during the acid house and Balearic era, the spark was lit early. His first love was Jungle Music and like any true selector, his vinyl collection exploded fast. He chased fresh sounds relentlessly, from early radio sessions in the '90s on stations like Weekend Rush, Pressure FM, Rinse FM, Unknown FM, Deja Vu, and Magic FM, all the way through to building one of the most respected Sunday shows on Rinse FM itself. Caspa lived through multiple waves of dance music, growing to a seasoned club DJ. He’s played up and down the UK and regularly traveled abroad. The sound on this podcast is 100% unreleased music from his friends in the scene. In addition to his club and radio legacy, DJ Caspa also curates his own acclaimed podcast series Upfront & Personal, known for hosting high-calibre guests such as Chris Stussy, Mr G, Djoko, Josh Butler, Anotr, Sidney Charles, Larry da Kat and many more. Songwriter, composer, performer, Phil Swain started his musical adventures in 2013. Diversity in his music, depth in his lyrics characterise his style. A subtle blend of funk, jazz, house and groove afford the listener and the spectator a very special experience...
From his very beginnings in music as backing vocalist and drummer in a choir, his project was to create tracks composed only with percussions. But the idea soon evolved. Adding a melodic voice and chords were the starting point of a long series of eclectic compositions. His voice gained in subtlety and his style was enriched with various influences – 70s English pop, jazz, funk and reggae from the 80s, 90s electro, Drum’n’Bass, House and African music. To enrich his compositions, Phil collaborates with musicians coming from various horizons. He describes his style as electro pop, and has created his own electro biotope, influenced by funk, reggae, jazz and Latino music – a universe very much his own. 
He performs very frequently in Costa Rica, where he takes a big part of his inspiration. The incredible lushness of nature there allows him to recreate an atmosphere of universal horizons. 
In May 2017, he released his debut album, Evolution on the Move, with 11 tracks, distributed on digital platforms. We discover diversity in the musical style and depth in the texts... This album has the lush atmosphere of the vegetation that envelops the recording studio in which he works during his stays – as well the blue shades of hope that dwells in his lyrics, directed towards peace and harmony through self-change. 
The Buddhist philosophical influence in his texts give depth to his world. The meeting of nature and keyboards produces a wonderfully groovy ecological electronic music. 
Fluids of positive energy also emerge from lyrics that call for refusing the fury of the present world and enjoying the present moment. Each track reminds us of the urgency to respect our good old planet and the earthlings that populate it, sung in a very warm voice...

My Alias is inspired by my muscular dystrophy, Calpain 3 deficiency. I channel my pain by creating music. I Have joined shining_melody_records
