Calrisian, like a spear of destiny thrust into the side of a bloated stagnant corpse! The band formed in 2010, pooling years of hard fought gigging/touring and music industry experience together to form the kind of band that they had all wanted to be in from day one!

Named in homage to a certain mayor of Cloud City (minus one 'S') Calrisian are a heady, face-melting mixture of high energy hardcore rock, with great melodic qualities, awesome riffs and witty/meaningful lyrics all delivered with intensity, integrity and even a wry smile at live shows!

With the release of the “Bridges E.P.” in Aug 2011, The band set about taking local stages by storm, with great crowd reactions and tons of positive feed-back earning a small but loyal following of awesome fans and this was just the start!

In summer 2011, Calrisian recorded 3 more killer tracks for the album and became a 5 piece!
