Love is the hardest subject to talk about. Only a few people had the simplicity to speak it out-loud and well said.
Love
That is what I am looking at
With all my being and attention now.
Very carefully attentive to all details.

I don’t know you yet to direct my love to you
So I am putting this energy into the world
Hoping it will reach you someday.
Sharp points of my feelings sometimes cross bodies I do not reach. They hurt me instead. These beautiful creatures are teaching me something very profound, preparing me to meet you.
Love is taking care of me. And it hurts like a heart breaking. It is like a crack. This new feeling is covering it all with gold, in a painful burning process, remaining the crack visible, beautifully visible. Gold is a noble matter, and it could bring me luck.
I will rejoin Hope. Hope as an entity, the evil sister of Wait. Both are slowly devouring me. When they finish, something will happen. I know it for sure now. So I am waiting with hope. Letting myself dive into unmeaningful things while I wait for you. The creature who will light my golden part, who will mess up everything. I know you are out there, distracted from my absence. You won’t notice it until our paths cross. This is a relief, I don’t even want you to be licked by the sisters. Stay unharmed. You can be free, until love comes. I won’t be hurried, not desperate. I will respect you coming at your pace, so I will smile, wearing my earphones and enjoy my walkings until you arrive. That’s ok, because I already feel your existence and your love. That’s enough.

As with all the music originating from the source of the Yawanawá tradition and other tribes in the Amazon, this translation from my heart found its way like this. Infinite gratitude to my Yawanawá family in Mutum. To Tata, Tuikuru, Hushahu, and Matsini for all the guidance and spiritual support. 

In these challenging times, the indigenous tribes need all the support they can receive to continue securing their culture and spirituality. I can't express in words how important it is for me that they are well and sustaining their lives in their sacred village Mutum and for planet earth. 

My dear brother Warren Hellerud has founded together with me this campaign for the reforestation project in Mutum. Below you can read the information about this project and find the link to support with a donation.

"The Mutum village is located in the Rio Gregório Indigenous Land, municipality of Tarauacá, State of Acre.
Currently the Yawanawa people are around 1,500.00 people distributed in 8 villages (Matrinchã, Amparo, Yawarany, 7 Estrela, Tibúrcio, Escondido, Mutum and Nova Esperança) along the territory of 187,400 hectares, with an estimated perimeter around  245 kilometers.
In the Mutum village there are about 200 people including men, women and children.  Their livelihood has been through hunting, fishing and agriculture.


The idea of ​​the Project arose from reflections made by the community itself on the quality of life in which the Yawanawa of Aldeia Mutum currently live.  Although we have an extensive area in our territory, there are some areas that have already been deforested to make the traditional swiddens and that today are "capoeiras", that is, areas that over the years have been expanding more and more, without taking any advantage.


We believe that by reforesting the entire "capoera" area with native and regional fruits, as well as native and regional straws, it is possible to have more abundance in our villages and more quality of life in the area of  overall ​​health. 
The idea of ​​reforesting goes beyond having a good quality of life.  The project brings with it the rescue, strengthening, valuing the culture of the custom and the tradition of the Yawanawa people.  As well as awareness and education in caring for our forest, that is, when we plant trees, fruits, straws we are not just planting a tree, we plant hope, we plant life, and we generate awareness in young people to continue the work we are doing today.
To plant is to bring our customs back, as it has everything to do with our food, and our food is directly linked to study and spiritual growth according to Yawanawa knowledge.


However, we want to reuse these areas for reforestation by planting fruit plants like;
ORANGE, POKAN, ACEROLA, BIRĪTÁ, TANGERINA, INGÁ, COCO, MANGA, LEMON, GUIABA, GRAVIOLA, CUPUAÇU, CAJÁ, CAJARANA, CAJÚ, CACAO, ACAI, and many others.  As well as the native plants that are part of the Yawanawa diet but which over the years has been getting farther and farther from homes such as: PAMA, YAE, VĪUSH, SHEKEXI, ITIVI ..." - Matsini Yawanawa, Chief, Aldeia Mutum.
