The latest LP from Zusammenklang, Different Places showcases the German's talent for smooth, thoughtful dance music, seamlessly blending both deep and tech house, and techno throughout.

Promising "joyful melodies... despondent vocals and chilly synths" Different Places, sits perfectly on the fence between light and dark. Abyssal bass drives the LP, creating cohesion below the twinkling, ghostly sonics that define each track. Zusammenklang crafts rich textures so enveloping that the album demands to be put on repeat.

Out September 9th via Oliver Schories' SOSO imprint, Different Places proves a solid follow up to Zusammenklang's 2013 debut LP Tagtraum. The producer has developed and his sound with it, pushing power and depth to the top of his skill set.

After Few Nolder, Italian fellow Lehar aka Lorenzo Esposito is the second new signing for Connaisseur this year.Apart from his residency at the CIRQ club in Venice and regular bookings at some of the best clubs and parties in Italy and Malta, Lehar truly is a very talented producer as well. 

The remix to the title track of his upcoming EP comes from good friend Mario Basanov, who has delivered a bomb out of the deep structures of the original. Check it out for yourself.

Rising stars Pentatones, justly lauded for their distinctive blend of oblique pop, jazz-inflected electronica and languorous torch songs, receive the full Steve Bug treatment on Poker Flat's latest transmission: a meeting of minds that produces an utterly seductive dancefloor anthem. The original version of 'Karma Game' appears on the Pentatones album "Ouroboros" which will be released early 2015.

Distilling the original's haunting noir pop into a deep techno groove, Bug suspends tinkling chimes and tuned woodblocks around a gritty bass stab. A choir of siren voices follow, hauntingly layered as the tension builds and the riff tightens its grip on synapse and sinew alike. But all this is merely a prelude to the introduction of Delhia de France's vocals: a heartstring-pulling foil to Bug's intense repetitions, creating a heady blend that is deeply involving and instantly memorable.

An instrumental version gives harder-leaning DJs the chance to focus on the hypnotic riff and crisp, percussive touches that comprise the trademark Steve Bug sound, topping off a rich and unforgettable package.
