This song is about the emotions I've been bottling up and now they are coming to the surface. I wanted this song to also be about shutting down those who have wronged me. If they can't accept me for who I am, then that's their problem. I'm learning to embrace my own strength and I don't have to tolerate these toxic relationships anymore. 

I feel that with my music, I'm starting to evolve more into the vocal sound that feels right to me. That fits my vocal style and I'm starting to expand more into the opera/musical theatre/classical music genre of making music. Still working on balancing my chest voice and my head voice with my vocal coach.

This song is about being desperate to be in a relationship. At times, it feels so forbidden that you love idea of it being wrong. Fantasizing
 about a relationship that holds you back, but you love how familiar it is.

This is another remix of my single, You Don't Know Me (Battle Remix).This remix is it's own single and I wanted to make more of a classical musical version with vocals exploring my third octave range. My vocal chords shift all the time, so my vocals always change sound. This song is written, produced, recorded and mixed and mastered by Calyx Kre. 

I wanted this version of this single to be about accepting myself and fighting for myself in a self love way. I make my own choices and accept my own freewill. I'm my own woman and if I want to pursue music, I'm going to.

This song is about when I tried to reconnect with those who I connected with at open mic before the pandemic, but it turned out everyone moved on with new romantic interests, career opportunities or music career opportunities. I got caught up in the nostalgia and feared the unknown at the time. I was chasing after the idea, that someone from my past would return, because it was familiar. It was a fantasy, but I knew it was time to move on with my life and my music career. Can't stay in this moment forever. 

They are going to come into your life temporally, for a reason or it's meant to be. There are always lessons to learn from our friendships and relationships.

This is another remix of one of my singles, Darkness, that I collaborated with Bobby Blair on. This is the Rock Opera Remix of my single, Darkness. This continuing collaboration is a part of Calyx Kreations Music Label LLC along with Bobby Blair's music. Bobby Blair and I wrote this remix together. For production, Bobby Blair is playing his guitar through his looping machine.

Still working with Bobby Blair as a lead/backup vocalist and band/social media manager at this time. We are going to be performing during the Boulder.

The vocals on this symphony or opera piece were performed live at the Velvet Elk Lounge Open Mic while the production was done through Astral Realm Beats By Calyx Kre, last year. Originally a single idea that came to be during the Colliding Galaxies Tour in 2021. I wanted this single to a symphony like opera piece, because the idea of the Big Bang shows us the birth of our universe and how our universe keeps expanding. Just like how I'm creating my own opera universe that continues to expand with opportunity.

Big Bang

This is the single for 2023, called: Anesthesia. This song is written, produced and recorded by Calyx Kreations Music Label LLC/Astral Realm Beats By Calyx Kre/Calyx Kre. 

The inspiration from this single is from the star in the Lyra Constellation: Vega. The symbolism and astrological interpretation of Vega is inspiration, creativity, elevation, aspiration, connecting with feminine energy, guidance, navigation, balance and harmony. 

The other inspiration was from a dream I had. Yes, sometimes, I get inspiration for new music through dreams. I'm a lucid/vivid dreamer, so I remember most of my dreams and know when I'm dreaming. I started practicing lucid dreaming as a kid as it came naturally to me. 

I wanted the vocals and the music production to make it feel like you were going under, when you are on anesthesia, but in a seductive way. Like the ideal partner or romantic interest is like the anesthesia, you can't get enough and you want to be under their spell.

Anesthesia

This is the Andromeda Part 2 (Opera Piece). Andromeda Part 1 is the album, that is going to be released next year. After Andromeda Part 1 is released, I'm going to be switching from producing albums to composing opera pieces, Andromeda Part 1 will be also be an opera/musical theatre piece. 

The rework of a few musical theatre/opera pieces into one opera piece, that I started writing when I was in high school. 

Act 1: 
Breaking Away From You: This part is about when I was starting to work in the band and I was breaking away from the open mic scene as a solo artist. It is also about breaking away from a former friend, that I connected with at open mics in 2018-2019, who no longer seemed interested in wanting to have a connection with me. 
Sense Of Self: This is about how after I left the open mic scene as a solo artist to pursue being in the band at the time, that it was about finding my individuality for moving forward in the music industry. Where did I want to go next with music? 
Troublemaker: This area reflects the dramatic, family trip, that happened in 2019. Being casted as the family troublemaker or scapegoat, due to being manipulated to hurt someone else I knew from high school, to toying with my emotions, all because I didn't want to hurt someone else. 
Astral Plane: This part talks about connecting with my higher self and continuing on with my spiritual journey. 
Act 2: 
Pulsar: Connecting with pulsar energy. 
Poisoned My Mind: This area reflects how in high school, there were two situations filled with lies and delusion, where a rumor was spread about me being with this guy, that started the rumor, so I would be embarrassed and the family drama kept coming back, since I refused to be a part of hurting someone else, by making up, that someone close had feelings for me, which turned out to be false. 
Eclipse ft. Bobby Blair: A fun part about astrology which featured Bobby Blair. 
Empowerment ft. Bobby Blair: This area reflected how in high school, this guy tried to use me to cheat on his girlfriend and the same thing happened in my early twenties, when one of my guy friends at the time, tried to use me to cheat on his girlfriend. When the girlfriends found out, they were mad at me, even though the boyfriends were encouraging it. Another area of dishonesty. Interesting area to produce and record with Bobby Blair. 
Act 3: 
Cosmic Warrior: Talks about inner strength when overcoming the drama, that was going on with open mic when I performed as a solo artist and worked as an assistant host.
Galatic Halo: Connecting with galactic energy. 
Done With You: This area talks about how when the open mic at License. 1 shutdown, the drama at the Attic open mic and then at Velvet Elk Lounge, they wouldn't let me perform there with a backing track. This was a transitional phase from performing at the open mikes to performing with the band. 
Awakened: Talking about finally knowing what I want in an ideal partner. Wanting to find true love again. The intro is from a leak being recorded when a pipe burst above my apartment.

Moonlight represents finding the right, idea romantic partner were there's an obvious romantic connection, but we connect on an emotional level. For me, it's about the emotional intimacy, that becomes romantic. It's sexy. 

This song helped me figured out what I want in a romantic relationship and helped me later to come out as straight asexual and demisexual.

Inspired by the blackhole located in the Andromeda Galaxy, known as: B023-G078. Blackholes usually have the symbolism of mystery, the unknown, destruction, endings, limits of knowledge, metaphor for emotional states, gateway to other realities and a symbol of power and strength. 

When it comes to a symbol of power and strength, this opera piece is inspired by another lucid dream, that I had one night. Where I had to stand up for myself. I wanted the vocals to be a lower octave, since this opera piece is about lucid dreaming. Opera doesn't always need to be loud, it can soften. 

I'm a lucid dreamer, so I'm aware of when I'm dreaming while I'm dreaming and I remember most of my dreams.

When I recorded the vocals for this opera piece, I was still recovering from an upper respiratory infection I had recently, so there is a change in octave range when it comes to my vocal range. I recently made it to four octaves on a soprano vocal range.

Calyx Kre is an opera vocalist and music producer, astrologer and social media manager. When she was four, she was able to memorize most of the lines in preschool plays. She could be more than one character at once. Her love for performing began and her love for music began when she was five. She learned to sing when she was five in school. She would sing alone at first. She joined choir in sixth grade and tenth grade. At the age of fifteen, she started writing songs, but kept them hidden until she was nineteen. Until, she told her parents she wanted to be a musician. She took vocal lessons at the ages of 19-21, while she was attending college. Before she turned 22, she was currently working on her first playlist with someone who worked with production. She transferred from the college she was going to and went to an all music school. Studying audio engineering, production, and vocal technique. This led her to produce three playlists and her first official album during her education. The name Calyx Kre, came from her legal name, Calyx. Kre came from her last name, Kreloff. Calyx Kre. She loved performing since she was four. While she was on her way on becoming a musician, did acting and theatre. She did cheerleading and dance. Music is where her heart is set. Eminem has been her biggest influence and has been since she was six.
