It was billed as the Cambridge Chapter launch of '85 Broads', a global network of trailblazing, visionary women who aspire to use their talent and leadership savvy to affect change for all women globally. The speakers at the day-long conference offered advice on how to overcome adversity, how to make the recession an advantage, why it's good not to fear failure and how to find the resources to keep digging deep. It clearly 'inspired', 'connected' and 'transformed' the many women who attended it.

Acclaimed author Jackie Kay discusses the genre of the short story, and the themes within her own work, before reading from her latest short story collection, 'Reality, Reality'. Afterward, Chair of the RSL Anne Chisholm presents Martina Kay with her award for Best Short Story, before the author reads her winning piece.

Ivo recently graduated from university and now regularly gigs on the professional comedy circuit all around the U.K.
