Small Town Rookie

Cameron Catalano is a multi instrumentalist composer. He consistently dabbles in four corners of music: folk, rock, classical and soundscapes. Over the past decade he's had over a dozen compositions performed by some of the best musicians Vancouver has to offer in venues such as the Orpheum Annex, Pyatt Hall, and the Jazz Cellar. In 2017 he has composed the score to a pair of full length films in 2017. 
He is currently the President of Vancouver Pro Musica, an organization that produces concerts, workshops and reading session to provide opportunity for BC composers to get their works performed.
He worked as a recording engineer for 4 years upon graduating from SFU and produced hundreds of songs by a broad array of Canadian musicians. 
With Lucas Mercer and Dan Simmons, he performs on a weekly basis improvising the soundtrack to Sin Peaks weekly comedy series at the Red Gate Theatre on Granville Island.
