The first presentation of this project was at the respected Berlin Atonal festival in past August of this year.

Just like a good DJ set, storytelling is all about creating an arc, putting listeners under a spell and giving the feeling that this story doesn’t have to come to an end. Telling a story with these attributes without using words? How it’s possible is demonstrated by DJ and producer Markus Suckut.

This week's Global Vibe Radio mix comes from Italian Live artist Fabrizio Rat, known for transforming grand pianos into synthesizers to produce hypnotic, powerful techno soundscapes. 

For the occasion, Fabrizio recorded a live mix in his studio using all-analog equipment, featuring all-original music that is mostly unreleased. 

The equipment used include Korg MS20, Acoustic Prepared Piano, Modular Synth (mainly Makenoise  and Vermona modules), Roland SH101, Roland TR909, Elektron Analog Rytm, Roland JUNO 60 , DSI Prophet 08, RE201 Space Echo, EVENTIDE Space and a Mackie mixer
