Synapses slowly reaching the ground, merging and becoming one with the underground rhizomatic networks. A memorable rendez-Nous within a fractal space. It felt like being at the core center of the matrix, enveloped by a warmth reminiscent of a maternal womb. I found myself in a weightless suspension, envisioning the past, the present and the future, all together in a blink of an eye.”

🪩🫡 Being a long time fan and friend of @sabel-3 - Cricket, I thought I (Rubio) knew what to expect from this set. Cricket blew away my expectations this time. 

We know she's been going from strength to strength, playing more and more high profile gigs, whether it's an all vinyl warm up for Ezra Collective at the City Recital Hall, or her sets at Lost Paradise, to sweaty basement jams. 

This mix is peak mid-time perfection, plenty of low key bangers, lots of leftfield gems all served up with a healthy dollop of nostalgia. 

Cricket knows the score, and always knocks it for 6 (eh eh...?) and you can rest assured you'll be seeing much more of her at the Boog' in times to come.

GROUND brings his Osaka-delic sound to the Multi Culti disco 

A long-time friend and collaborator, GROUND has been part of the Multi Culti Family since it's early days, playing together at festivals in Europe and Asia, hosting us in his native Osaka, doing limited edition silk-screened merch with his CHILL MOUNTAIN partner at our pop-up shop in Berlin. With all that history, it's about time we did a proper release together!

This set of tracks has all his hallmarks as a producer: loopy, funky grooves that make you nod your head and stomp your feet, tracks bedazzled with wonky bleeps, squelches, noise samples, and pitched percussion, a musical collage packed with equal parts 'kawaii', 'wabisabi', and of course 'saikederikku.'

Party music for machine elves, cartoon hallucinations, beats for inner and outer dance, drawn from mystical mountain moments as much as from the dope, dense cities of Japan - dig deep into GROUND.
