At times we all go though that "this isn't getting better" mindstate, but eventually we're always wrong. Life has a funny way of making the hardest parts the most important for growth. Drawing comparisons between the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world's skills in the ring and my own skills on the mic is the primary theme throughout this hard-hitting track.

In Blame 'Em I really tried to flex my rhyming skills in a poetic manor, while simultaneously calling to the new trend of lazy writing in hip hop. This genre made me who I am today, so I hate to see the main descriptors of this type of music die. I won't let it.

Blame 'Em

A personal take on a relationship with someone that will always be very important to me. Even though a song like this is only ever one side of the story, I hope there's some relatable premises and a good outlook of closure with difficult decisions that we sometimes have to make.

I want you is a song I've worked on for a long time, a true conceptual poem over a beat. Describing all the back and forth wants I have for myself, and others. Albeit strange at times, it really puts forth the yearning for each person to accomplish all they want.

I Want You

This song was perfect to finish off the debut album, in which I tried to be as honest to myself as possible. Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard, and that's my reminder to always put more into the music I want to make my life out of.
