ITS A FESTIVAL! On this Open Source RVA,we talk about the Richmond International Film Festival with its founder and director Heather Waters. She tells us about the can't-miss screenings and music showcases happening in venues across town-- including The Byrd Theatre, Movieland at Boulevard Square and Hardywood Park Craft Brewery. We also chat with Cameron Kit (pictured), the director of a new film playing the festival called "Chlorine." The host of WRIR's "They Came From Outer Space" talks about being a young moviemaker on the film fest circuit, and gives us an update on her forthcoming WRIR-related "Sister Radio Project" documentary. All of that PLUS the tireless Noah Page, the host of WRIR's Secret Bonus Level, who drops by to talk about the vibrant Richmond hip-hop and rap scene, and give out details on the Secret Bonus Level Live concert series happening FREE at Starr Hill Richmond Beer Hall & Rooftop.
