The CBS Radio in Buea held a live radio discussion on peace journalism and electoral reporting in Cameroon. The discussion followed a 2-day peace journalism workshop with Prof Steven Youngblood organised by the CCMN. Guests of the radio programme were Prof Steven Youngblood, Director Center for Global Peace Journalism, Rev Mokoko Mbue Thomas, PCC National Communication Secretary, Gerald Chilla, representative of the US Embassy in Cameroon, and Leonard Kum, Secretary General CCMN.

CBS Radio Buea Discussion on Peace Journalism and Electoral Reporting

The CCMN - Cameroon Community Media Network has 22 members and over 35 regularly contributing journalists. The CCMN focuses on the development of the Community Media Sector in Cameroon and the establishment of conflict-sensitive journalism as alternative to conventional reporting.
