Since mid‐1980s, a spot light has always shined upon Camilla Chialà aka Camilla. Born and raised in Brescia, Italy, the veracious Mediterranean vixen has been singing and dancing since before she can remember. A serious do‐it‐all‐type of artist, she started her first punk band when she was 18, singing lead vocals and playing guitar. Singer, songwriter, performer, and event organizer, Camilla spent 2005‐2008 in Beijing either onstage or at the center of the dance floor before taking her first stab at DJing clubs all over town such as: Alfa, The Boat, Club Tango, and White Rabbit Club. From 2008 to 2013 she was relocated to Rome, where she cooperated with several Clubs for the weekly event LOVELIGHT, Neo Club for the monthly event FONIA and D-Apartment in the cool San Lorenzo area. She also attended almost all major roman nightlife parties, such as Female Cut, Fuze, Minimods, Gorgeous I Am, Elettronto, bringing her groove to clubs such as Room 26, Circolo degli Illuminati, Alpheus, Lanificio 159, Brancaleone and Circolo degli artisti. From early March 2014 she moved to London, where she started to perform several times at the W London Hotel, occasionally at Dalston Superstore, Spice Market Restaurant and for Goldfinger Factory event in West London. A connoisseur of quality music and a musician herself, this shejay refuses to adhere to any one particolar style of electronic music. Experimental and daring, Camilla’s a pure bass junkie known for putting together seamless layers of deep house tracks mixed with edgy electro that refreshingly transiting into heavy bass‐driven tech‐house with an occasional hardcore DnB surprise thrown in for good measure, depending on the mood and cravings of a crowd’s atmosphere. 

Sin dalla metà degli anni 80, una luce ha sempre brillato su Camilla Chialà aka Camilla. Nata e cresciuta a Brescia, una autentica performer mediterranea canta e balla ancora prima di averne memoria. Una seria “tuttofare” per quando riguarda diverse forme d’arte, ha cominciato la sua prima ska/punk band all’età di 18 anni come leader e chitarrista. Cantante, autrice, performer e organizzatrice di eventi, Camilla ha trascorso dal 2005 al 2008 a Pechino esibendosi su palchi oppure al centro di dance floors, prima di iniziare a suonare nei migliori Club della Metropoli cinese come : Alfa, The Boat, Club Tango e White Rabbit. Da qualche anno si è trasferita a Roma dove ha suonato come resident in diversi Clubs per appuntamenti settimanali come il Lovelight e mensili come le serate Fonia nella cornice underground del Neo Club dando modo a tutti di godersi sofisticate armonie in molte feste della capitale. Recentemente ha collaborato con alcune delle crew e organizzazioni più importanti della scena romana, tra cui Female Cut, Fuze, Minimods, Gorgeous I Am, portando il suo groove in clubs quali Room 26, Circolo degli Illuminati, Alpheus, Lanificio 159, Brancaleone, Circolo degli artisti. Una profonda conoscitrice di musica ed una musicista lei stessa, si rifiuta di essere legata ad un preciso stile musicale. Sperimentale e coraggiosa, sovrappone tracce Deep House con una tagliente Electro che quasi naturalmente transita verso forti, puri e distinti bassi che caratterizzano la Tech House e la Minimal Techno. Questa imprevedibilità creativa l'ha portata ad accostarsi a sonorità molto distanti tra loro come Acid Jazz, Indie, Rockabilly, Electrofunk, Electroswing, Protopunk ed una accurata selezione di musica Vintage, nella cornice di locali alternativi quali Town House, 15 Gradi e Muzak.
