I have no idea what inspired this song, all I know is that I got stoned and spent 7 or 8 hours straight on this song, and pretty much did the whole thing. Can you believe that horn section was done on a keyboard. I got so in depth with the different expressions you can chose when you program in the ones. Logic Pro is amazing like that.

Such a simple progression but for me, such a banger. I think this was one of this morning melodies I woke up with, and just put some other parts with it. Seems to be talking about the version of myself I ignore and don't make space for, the part of me I don't love and support, and about giving myself the time and space to express all that I can offer.

Fell Right In (Lyrics by Nathan Nicholas)

This one is pretty straight forward. One of my favourite things to do is be along a river on a warm day making music and being with friends. 

This song marks the first time I had set up my recording studio to record a full band. That took a lot of time and money but it was a celebratory improv jam recording of it all coming together. This song was made on the spot spontaneously. 

There's 2 kits in this track, one being played by possibly Nathan Combes, and the other one is a sample kit. I couldn't decide which kit I liked better so I panned them both left and right.
