Cam Smith – Rising Star of the UK Bass Scene

Hailing from Oxford, England, Cam Smith has rapidly made his mark as an exciting new DJ over the past three years. With a lifelong love for music, it was inevitable that he’d eventually get his hands on a pair of decks, and since then, he's been fully immersed in the art of mixing and curating infectious, high-energy sets.

A Dynamic Sound Palette
Cam’s style is versatile, covering everything in the 125-150 BPM range. His sets are defined by their energy, groove, and an unmistakable love for warpers—the gritty, twisted basslines that light up dancefloors. Whether it’s garage, bassline, or a touch of house, his selections are always primed to keep the vibe flowing and the crowd moving.

Passion for the Craft
Though he’s been dabbling in music production, Cam holds his work close to the chest, refusing to release anything until it meets his high standards. On the DJing front, he’s eager to explore more back-to-back (B2B) sets, relishing the spontaneous, electric energy that comes from bouncing tracks off another DJ. For Cam, the B2B experience brings out some of the best vibes and creates moments that are truly unforgettable.

Inspirations
A self-taught talent, Cam honed his skills by studying YouTube sets from modern-day legends like Sammy Virji, Interplanetary Criminal, and Main Phase. Their influence is evident in his seamless blends and genre-spanning sets, combining modern basslines with classic garage sounds.

Favorite Track
Currently, Cam’s top tune is Ross Postin – "Someday". With its sublime organ-driven first drop and a second drop that transforms into an absolute warper, it’s a track that perfectly captures his musical ethos: a balance of melody, bass, and energy.
