Rafael Canan (Canan) was born in São Paulo and is 28 years old. As a teenager, he saw electronic music enter his life through European Trance, Classical Trance and Psytrance. Researcher and dreamer by essence, he started to produce as a hobby and today dedicates to the career of DJ and music producer.

It was from 2019 that he fell in love with Techno and Progressive House, where he began to dedicate himself professionally and become a DJ. Attracted by more psychedelic, hypnotic sounds and with a lot of ambiance, the artists who most contributed to the construction of their identity were Patrice Baumel, Jonathan Kaspar, Sasha, Ben Klock and Josh Wink.

Today he is part of the Pulse-T label, and in addition to having independent productions, he has recorded sets for Listen, Terasonic Records, Arrange.Art, Calavera, Melodic State and MDAccula Radio, which has led him to play at events such as Aftermemes, Spot, Mind The Gap, Lagoon, D.EDGE and also in Santa Catarina, at Hernafter.

In 2019, he co-founded Bee One (a national event with the aim of boosting the scene with Melodic/Progressive Underground DJs in São Paulo) and is the author of the Point of View Podcast, where he takes several references to his audience with sets recorded in cultural and historical settings.

"Music gave meaning to my life, so I dedicate a part of it to share that purpose with other people. Maybe I can reach them somehow, for me music is the flame that keeps us young inside."

Rafael Canan (Canan) nasceu em São Paulo e tem 28 anos. Ainda na adolescência, viu a música eletrônica entrar na sua vida por meio do Trance Europeu, Trance Clássico e algumas vertentes do Psytrance. Pesquisador e sonhador por essência, começou a produzir por hobby e hoje se dedica a carreira de DJ e produtor musical.

Foi a partir de 2019 que ele se apaixonou pelo Techno e pelo Progressive House, onde começou a se dedicar profissionalmente e se tornar um DJ. Atraído por sons mais psicodélicos, hipnóticos e com muita ambientação, os artistas que mais contribuíram na construção da sua identidade foram Patrice Baumel, Jonathan Kaspar, Sasha, Ben Klock e Josh Wink.

Hoje ele faz parte do núcleo Pulse-T, e além de ter produções independentes, gravou sets para a Listen, Terasonic Records, Arrange.Art, Calavera, Melodic State e MDAccula Radio, o que o levou a tocar em eventos como a Aftermemes, Spot, Mind The Gap, Lagoon, no renomado club D.EDGE e também em Santa Catarina, no Hernafter. 

Em 2019, co-fundou a Bee One (evento nacional com o objetivo de impulsionar a cena com DJs de Melodic/Progressive Underground em São Paulo) e é autor do Podcast Point of View, onde leva várias referências ao seu público com sets gravados em cenários culturais e históricos.
