A track called "The Tower to the Heavens"? Surely it will be a sweet, nice, ethereal sounding song.

The song is composed in 19 /8 using FL Studio. Normally this is impossible but works due to Hex editing the FLP file. Not usually my kind of style, but I went a little outside my comfort zone, making something much slower than usual.

Empty room, Shining.

This song will be a little different from my others, going for a more techno/EDM feel. The automation for this song atrocious but the feel came across perfectly, with the instruments and elements of the song dynamically changing a little.

The sample choice for this song (like my others) is very strange, some instruments are from the "WaveWorld" and "Kiarchive" tracker sample packs, some are just synths (3xOsc or GMS), and some are just others I collected in other places (such as the Discord call noise, or SNES harp).

As clock mechanisms tick, a certain rhythm arises.

I aimed for a more mysterious style of song this time, with a focus on percussion and SFX. This track sounds a little more video game-y, likely due in part to the very strange sample choice. Also wanted to end things on a major chord this time so it ends happy :)

Sinking further and further from the surface. Can't breathe.

This is a rather old song of mine, but I feel that the vibe is still spot on. For those who want to know: The time signature is 11 / 4 and the beat can be counted as 1 + 4 + 2 + 4.

I didn't use many interesting samples this time (since it's an old song). Most of the samples and instruments were just FL Studio stock samples. As such: there are unfortunately no instrument links.

Deep Waters

Aarris: Using heart over head.

Keeping the tradition of weird time signatures, this time it's 7 / 4 (4 + 3 beats). This song was originally intended for use in an A Dance Of Fire And Ice level, but it never saw the light of day; This is also why the song relies more on the limiter than some of my other works.

The instrumentation was a tad awkward here, but it follows similar traditions of using FL Studio stock synths, Sfz instruments, samples, etc.

This is meant to be more video-game type music, specifically a final stretch kind-of vibe. Calm before the storm I suppose. 

There's not too much to say about the instrumentation, other than it's more of the typical of this point (soundfonts / sfz instruments, samples, FL Studio synths).
