 After a rain-stopping performance at Glastonbury last week, Little Dragon have announced a surprise London show at Corsica Studios as part of Boiler Room TV. The gig will be streamed live online between 7pm-8pm on Tuesday 18 July at http://www.boilerroom.tv/live

Having already been all over the airwaves with ‘Wildfire’ by SBTRKT on which they feature, they are is set to continue their meteoric rise to success with the release of ‘Ritual Union’ which has already bagged plays from Zane Lowe, Annie Mac and Lauren Laverne, who said they are “the coolest band in the world right now”. DJ Shadow seems to agree, having asked them to collaborate on a track for his long-awaited new album. The 12” and digital download will come with an acapella version of ‘Ritual Union’ and two remixes. One is a super smooth offering from on-the-rise German producer Tensnake and the other comes from house producer Maya Jane Cole, currently being streamed on iTunes here:

Since 2009’s critically acclaimed Machine Dreams they have not sat still, touring the globe and making some high profile friends along the way. Damon Albarn invited them to collaborate on two tracks for last year’s Gorillaz record Plastic Beach, which became album highlights for the critics with Pitchfork describing the songs ‘Empire Ants’ and ‘To Binge’ as “two of the most arresting things here; they’re airy, elusive and amazingly beautiful”. Similarly, David Sitek was so taken with singer Yukimi Nagano’s voice after touring with them in 2009, he asked her to lend some vocals to ‘If You Return’ from his solo project Maximum Balloon. And now Big Boi will be producing one of Little Dragon’s songs for his new album, after a certain Andre 3000 tipped him off. As if that wasn’t enough, they appear on Rafael Saadiq’s new album adding vocals to the sublime summer track ‘Just Don’t’.

Ritual Union the single will be release 25th July, with the remix EP to follow on the 15th August.

John Monkman is no newbie to audio, and if you don't know how far his touch reaches, then you should probably sit back and ask yourself where you've been the last few years. Now we've got a piece of his latest work for you 'Follow Me' featuring the lovely vocals of Liz Cass. 'Follow Me' is a groove-stew of cool bass and crisp percussion flowing freely over the dancefloor. Liz Cass' vocal lines grace the track and float beautifully between the different parts. John has captured the sound of his soul and put it in this track. Play it on a full dancefloor and watch the audience peak.
