The Goon Sax - Sometimes Accidentally

The Male Nurse was formed in Edinburgh in 1993 by visual artist Keith Farquhar. In their six years they released four 7inch singles, recorded two John Peel Sessions, and played rare, but memorable gigs. Their hybridisation of art, obscure cultural reference and working class male identity politics, and experimental recording and performance style conveys their kinship to post punk bands such as The Fall. The Male Nurse shared several members with the bands Country Teasers and The Yummy Fur. Here for the first time on Decemberism, the definitive LP.
