The Interstate 55 project was born of a friendship between two young students, Chris and Alex, at a warehouse party in South Chicago in 1995. Press correspondents for Coda and Trax Magazine between Chicago and Paris, the two guys helped promote the Underground sound in Europe, interviewing some of the greatest legends: Paul Johnson, Cajmere, Derrick Carter, Dance Mania Crew and more. 25 years after the most beautiful private parties, Alex returns to the mix to promote the underground once again, through various Radio Shows on SoundCloud, with current tones and the launch of a label planned for next year. Peter Croce is a Detroit-based DJ, producer, and head of the boutique vinyl label Rocksteady Disco, which he founded in 2014. 
A true personality DJ and digger, Peter’s sound favors soul and spirit over genres and rules; he endeavors to carry the DIY soundsystem ethos of party hosts a la David Mancuso and Aba Shanti-I into the next generation. 
His career highlights have included Ron Trent’s invitation to play alongside him and François K, and opening for the legendary Grace Jones.

His debut release "Revival" quickly sold out worldwide, earning broad organic support ranging from Mr. Scruff, Soul Clap, Jamie 3:26, and The Blessed Madonna to Kanye West, and is still heard at parties around the world. 
A jazz-trained bassist and prolific re-editor (usually under his Mr. PC alias), he artfully tailors classics and re-creates future gems for his dance floors. 
In addition to his own imprint, his releases can be found on Industry Standard, Razor-N-Tape, Soundway, On The Corner, and Kampana.

Peter maintains a demanding schedule between residencies in Detroit and Chicago, as well as appearances in Tokyo, Seoul, Mexico City, New York, Miami, London, Paris, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Pittsburgh, Washington D.C., and more. 
He is also the label manager of MotorCity Wine Recordings.

The Italian brothers Gino and Federico Grasso are bona fide ‘disco don’s’, collecting music for over 30 years and supplying the likes Dimitri From Paris, Sadar Bahar and Volcov with obscure gems. Gino is a familiar face behind the decks in his hometown of Bologna and across Italy, while Federico’s DJing outings are more occasional.
