ABOUT:
In 2008 Cannibal Monkey didn't exist yet and as just a dude with an interest in music, Daniel then yet to be creator of Cannibal Monkey started working as an intern in the Dutch music venue "Simplon", here he learned about the technology of light and sound, but mostly he got introduced to new styles of music he haven't heard before like Techno, Drum and Bass and Dubstep. 

In 2009 he attended a rave called "Dub & Dwars" and at this rave he saw the then rising star "Skream" play with his early work that are now absolute anthems in Dubstep. He quickly caught on and started to experiment with this new and exciting sound. By happenstance a gig got landed and Cannibal Monkey soon found himself standing on the stage.

In 2010 "Skrillex" brought out "Scary Monsters & Nice Sprites" this song turned Dubstep on its head and this meant that for Cannibal Monkey there would be a lot of work to do to satisfy the sudden increased demand of Dubstep. 

As time went on Dubstep evolved and changed and thankfully it's inevitable fall of grace had to be done to get all the shitheads out! (Cannibal Monkey's own words *yes for real)

This never stopped Cannibal Monkey from outputting Dubstep anyway and he's still strongly connected to the style he loves most.
