Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, an eclectic and diverse city responsible for all the different sounds that are characteristic of his electronic music work as an established International Producer and DJ. Although already considered a master of his crafted Organic House music he continues on an ever evolving journey of creating his own and unique sound. 

At first listen you can hear his particular and specific contribution to the already solid foundations of groovy percussion and strong baselines. Manchester (UK) based Mazayr has always felt a deep connection to music. Experimenting with electronic music for well over a decade, his passion for creativity stems from much earlier as a keen drummer in his youth. This love for rhythm naturally translated to dance music and birthed a tireless focus on finding his own sound as a music producer.
 
Mazayr’s sound has arrived at a blend of emotional, uplifting and melancholic melodies, intertwined with punchy, solid grooves. Influences come from an eclectic mix of genres and as an artist his tracks are built to stand the test of time. His style has earned him debuts on labels such as The Purr, Cigarette Music and Canopy Sounds, with more exciting projects already in the pipeline.
 
As a DJ, Mazayr has frequented various venues across Manchester, including Pangaea Festival and the infamous Sankeys nightclub. In 2019, he began hosting events and a mix series under the Right Frequency banner to showcase melodic house music.

A mischievous twilight loomed above the rolling hillside, signaling the day's end for some.. For the wicked and the weird - a debaucherous tale had yet to unfold...

Canopy Sounds presents a spooky Halloween extended special from the dynamic duo, Death On The Balcony.

The combined forces of Mark Caramelli & Paul Hargreaves have built up an extensive catalog over the past ten years.  Their style fuses a range of influences from Disco, classic Deep House, as well as minimal and deep techno. With such a variety of tunes under their belt, they have a unique ability to concoct unique and enticing vibes to a myriad of settings and atmospheres for dancers all around the globe.  DOTB have become known as masters of the art of the remix, as they have been able to apply their delicate and rhythmic touch to all sorts of different genres and artists, most recently to Black Sabbath's, "Planet Caravan" - which was just released as a free download.  

Death on the Balcony’s release schedule is continually active with them releasing & remixing internationally with the likes of All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep, Kindisch, Akbal Music, Connaisseur, Suol, and Pets & Exploited.

The pair have been in the kitchen, cooking up some sonic flavors that should be reaching your ears this coming December, 2018.

Joe Miller is an English-born beatmonger, influenced in equal measure by heaving clubs and the earthy melancholy of forests. He grew up in Australia, where he learned to craft sets that are whimsical and left-field, evoking a sense of place.

All Day I Dream artists - Classical Pianist/Composer Van Anh Nguyen and DJ/Drummer/Producer Mark Olsen blend their two worlds together to form a unique dreamy mix of live acoustic and electronic sounds.  Originally being musicians before diving into the Electronic world, the duo love to add in live elements in their production and live sets.

​Both successful in their individual careers: Van Anh (Signed to Universal Music) has toured as a Classical Pianist performing as a soloist with orchestras around the world and has taken out the iTunes no.1 spot multiple times in the Classical Singles Chart.   Mark Olsen won the 2016 DJ/Producer of the Year award at the AIMA awards, and has released music on labels such as Toolroom, EMI, Sony and Ministry of Sound.

Double Touch has performed around Australia, USA, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam with Europe dates planned for 2020.

A melancholic soiree ebbs and flows through us all.....

An expert at creating harmonious illusions of sound, Germany’s Powel always finds a way to thread together natural elegance and tasteful patience in music. Having learned the piano at a young age and subsequently performed regularly with bands and even an orchestra, Powel's palette of music has a vast and thorough foundation that is influenced by the people and places he comes across during his visits.  His unique touch as a musician is heard by how he captures warm, celestial vibes filled with airy atmospheres together with delicate rhythms and tells a melancholic story fused with ghostly, low slung cuts that are rich with nuance and subtlety.  Powel steadily explores this duality in sounds not only throughout his discography but in his performances around the world which included his inaugural debut on the ROBOT HEART bus in 2016.

Let's take a walk through the woods and see what we might find...

Canopy Sounds is back with rising Russian deep house talent, Arina Mur. Arina's first release on Truesounds Music label received great support from such famous musicians as Nick Warren, Soul Button, Nicolas Rada, Cid Inc., Igor Marijuan, Gab Rhome, and more. While only DJing and producing for a few years now, she has found herself playing energetic and vibrant sets in top Russian clubs around Russia like Gazgolderand Propaganda.  More recent ventures have taken her abroad to Hungary, Montenegro, Slovakia, Belarus and Cyprus.

Arina's production style is very playful and whimsical, featuring elegant synth passages against organic and slightly progressive rhythmic shapes. Her recent release "Magic Wand" was met with great praise on Anjunadeep earlier this year. She has also proven herself as a serious remix artist with releases on Seven Villas and Truesounds Music. Canopy Sounds is honored to share this premiere of our beloved Greg Nairo's upcoming track, "Tierra Blanca" coming soon on Serbian based label, The Purr (June 1, 2020).  The title track features warm flutes that calm the listener while invoking a passionate drive for brighter tomorrows.
