Devil Man OVA The Birth Opening Theme, Cover

Firstly, thank you for finding my music I really appreciate it!

I've been working on this project since July!  It has had a couple of revisions and I am excited to share it with you all listerners :)
The idea came from my studies watching Demon Slayer and Sword Art Online Anime.  There are two scenes I base my ideas on to form the themes you hear in this Orchestral music.  Act 2 is a faster tense battle theme with elements of film scores to suit the media I based it on.  I actually didn't draft or sketch Act 2 and just went straight into composing and arranging it from scratch.  The same motif heard in Act 1 from the low vocals is heard repetatively throughout the various orchestral instruments.  We also hear a repeat of the melodic phrase heard in Act 1 to represent the character on screen in battle.  There is subtle sound design for the intro similar to Act 1 to add more interest.
The production took a while as I learnt more, and I am really happy with the sound I got in the end.  I also got an ear ache one point and thankfully I can hear!  So many lessons learnt creating this music.
Although the song is base on the Animes I watched, the art I chose is complete 180!  So now I have in my head when I hear this like it might suit a scene in Fern Gully haha.

Firstly, thank you for finding my music I really appreciate it!

I hope you're doing great listener, composer, musician, and everyone who is passionate about original music compositions :)
Here is an relaxing orchestra track I composed this year.  Going into this I had a piano sketch way back in 2017 that I saved as an audio.  With that, I drafted and revised new ideas based on that, and orchestrated this calming peaceful theme.  
The media I used to gain inspiration was from the video game Alundra on the PS1.  Fun fact as with many video games I've come across, I have never completed it!
Another inspiration was listening to the Dark Souls Fire Shrine theme by Motoi Sakuraba.  If you go straight to listening to that after this you'll definitely hear the influence of that Harp in the background.  
I recently got the upgrade to the full version of Audio Imperia's Areia.  The strings are the show case in this track and first time I had access to various mic options.  The tricky part was composing the Solo Cello which is the Lyrical Cello series from Sonuscore.  I completely underestimated the low sounding samples in this project but happy with the results.

Hello listener and I hope you are doing great!

Firstly I am giving a huge shout out to my friend Dave Williams who mixed this track Trapped for Eternity.  I really appreciate your help and support and it's been a great learning experience about production. 
My next music composition is a similar style to the music of the Beetlejuice soundtrack composed by Danny Elfman.  My intention was to create a dark horror fantasy adventure orchestral style.  My current style of composing is geared towards movement and combining music patterns yet keeping the homophonic sound we associate with theme music.  The difference is it is intended to be a score as there are many instances where the music will not follow rules, and especially the chromatic sound I went for!
I continued watching Demon Slayer season 1 in silence and came across episode 4 where I used it as a reference media to help inspire my composing journey.  Many of the ideas came from matching the sound to the media like the strings fx representing danger of the "monster" in episode 4.  The fun woodwind ensemble heard early on represent the conversation on screen between two characters as I think those instrument suit that scene.  The part where it gets brassy is where someone is running from danger from the monster.  The final section is the only melodic part overall representing the protagonist of Demon Slayer Tanjirou and his moment to take action confronting the monster.
The image chosen for this music by thommas68 I feel suits Trapped for Eternity.  I look at this image and think of a story where the main characters are trapped at sea, and then face a huge storm.

Xang 2022

Trapped for Eternity | Dark Fantasy Orchestra

Hello everyone!  Here is another orchestral piece I composed with the aim to suit children shows, education or video games for kids.  We hear a similar choice in instrumentation with a solo clarinet melody and theme.  This is definitely inspired by the arrangement of my other orchestral track Festival of Dira bringing a lively, magical emotion to the listener.  I think overall it was a fun project to work on and continue to improve my craft as a music composer.  I am also still listening to the the video game music of the Kirby series and I think I'm a big fan of the character like my young son :)

Hello I hope you're doing great and looking forward to the summer!

For a couple of days I created this music composition for piano and strings ensemble.  I really enjoy creating this because the ideas all came from this image of boxed water :) I ended up going with a town theme for video game genre.  Hopefully one day, I'll work on a full orchestration in future!

Water Box Town Theme - Piano & Strings

Hello everyone and how are you all?

Welcome back to more original music :)
So the story of this project is one, I've never been to Vienne in France or knew much of the river Vienne!  However I did some research and it gave me inspiration to create this next orchestral piece!  The theme I went with was life, water and flow.  I wanted the music to countdown and gradually lift off towards the end, as if you were taking a nice boat trip on the Vienne river!
My music inspiration has always been video game soundtracks and Grandia on playstation and sega saturn came to mind.  That soundtrack and video game theme is about adventure.  I remember as a teenager I played hours of that game and heard a lot of solo instruments.  This idea led me to include solo violin and solo cello.
The runs heard from high strings and woodwinds during the B section is also something I used in a previous music compositions Trapped for Eternity.  The story of that is also about boat rides and in that case it was a ghost ship!  Fun fact: I suffer from sea sickness so maybe thats why I compose very tense sections using runs to build on this emotion!
Water is also the main drink in my family atm!  However I did overdo my tea and coffee consumption when mixing this non stop one point lol
I have really enjoyed creating and exploring the sounds in this project.  I now have a new journey to go for which is to visit France and see the river Vienne :)

Hello all and welcome back for more of my original tracks!

I released my track as a MV on YouTube in Dec 2022!
The magic with composing music is that it is like a puzzle.  I started this project with no intention of including an electric guitar!  All I had in my mind was the image of a large specimen, giant or large area of land.  The song title came from there and I continued on creating the melodic theme.  My style of writing music that I like is straight out of my head!  It let's me have more creativity to try out more ideas without any restrictions to match it to media.
It was later that I wanted to include a rock theme so I recorded in an electric guitar sample with bass guitar.  I am a huge fan of the band Nightwish from Finland.  Their song from the album Dark Passion Play, Poet and the Pendulum was what inspired the arrangement.  Other inspiration for my project was the battle themes from Final Fantasy composed by Nobuo Uematsu.  I love the Black Mages band Uematsu recorded his music with!
The art visuals I really like as I grew up watching Neon Genesis Evangelion.  At that time I had to wait for the series to be English dubbed as there was no translation of the raw episodes.  Nowadays, it's amazing how much the Anime industry has grown!
Speaking of anime, the intro theme is inspired by the Noir Anime Ost composed by amazing Yuji Kajiura.
