At APOG 2021, my partner Skye and I were camped in the back of the tea tent we brought, we talked about what  it would look like to make a decompression space that was also a stage. Wildwood was a dream of both of ours for a space and vibe we felt lacking in the excitement of most festivals. Somewhere you could take a load off without retiring for the night or feeling removed from the experience. Over the past 3 years I've dove into curating that sound.  It is an exciting and unique vibe to curate, chill but energetic, calming but not sleepy, groovy and powerful but not overwhelming. All the music curated for this set was with the intention of supporting the energy we wanted Wildwood to hold for the community, as Skye put it "music you fall in love to". Hope you enjoy =)

Falling For Wildwood @ APOG 2024

An Outer Rim kid through and through, raised on blue milk in the streets of Tatooine. Cantina Reject was classically trained and made his living working all the local cantinas. Tired of the same old jazz, Cantina Reject draws his inspiration from the noises of bustling life, the rhythm of a womp rat stomping through the cellars and the roar of a pod racer tearing through the desert air. He hopes to take you on a journey that stretches much farther than the dusty old smuggler den in a sleepy desert town.
