Weather changes moods, spring is here again and we arrive with the 5th volume and this time we want to feel younger! The new fresh face is Rico and his original number is called "Sense", full of synth stabs that could re-animate any tired dancer. TYV does again... this time he takes a trip with Amadou & Mariam to Mali and wake up in a remote village with an acid drum machine. Our boys from EXZ throw some eastern european voodoo over "What's Going On" by Marvin Gaye and to close this compilation, Mr. Gui Scott slow the vibe to the limit with Bryan Ferry's Slave To Love, and edit designed for lovers. What has been the hold up? Well last year I was all set to release it with one of the major labels. However when it turned out they lost $2.1 billion in the last tax year it all went tits up. While it would be easy to blame the big bad record company, in this case everyone I worked with were great and really helpful. It just goes to show how messed up the music industry is right now and how difficult things are.

So it's back to plan one where I'm going to put it out myself (and hopefully not lose $2.1 billion). New mixes have been, and are being done just to keep it fresh and the mixes that don't fit on the album will be coming out as exclusive free downloads - so watch this space!
