Girl in the Bubble

Non-stop five hour live mix of about 100 of my favorite songs. At 0h we begin with breaks, 0h50m moves into bass music & drum and bass, 1h30m is for funky breaks and disco house, 3h is acid and funky techno, then OH SHIT some psytrance (!) at 3h50m and finally we wrap up with a little more bass music and euphoric house (4h15m - end). Planned to play for an hour, ended up going from 7pm till midnight. Got into a flow state, time flying by. Had SO much fun. Enjoy the ride!

Remix I made of the Danny Elfman song of the same name from the movie "The Nightmare Before Christmas". I'm not at all happy with the drum sounds, but the overall arrangement is nice. I'd re-do it but this was back in the day when I was using an AKAI hardware sampler, which I no longer have...

Second track in my 'one song a month' project. Basis is this wonderful collection of records I found from 1952 -- anthropological field recordings by Hugh Tracy. This one is a humorous Kenyan love song from the Kipsigis Tribe.
