CHIRP!  Loose AF cause I'm a newb and using control vinyl with Traktor which is a little latent, especially when I was trying very fast pulls to very slow pushes, the pitch didn't dive as much as it should have, but I was compelled to use the ahh-fresh clip and don't have it on vinyl. There has to be a website about scratching called a wiki-wiki.

Yeah boy!  I did this to compare to the first scratchy thing I posted after 10 weeks of casual practice; I started 12 weeks ago but was unable to use the mixer for at least 2 weeks during that time.

The ubiquitous ahh-fresh sample plus a breaks loop leftover from something else I did right before this still loaded in my DDM4000's mediocre loop sampler;
TANGENT: the sampler sounds fine and is super versatile.  It is mediocre because it is supposed to create loops in perfect bar-lengths of your choice, it does not do that, it's pretty much way off.  That said, I am now skilled at punching in a loop's start and stop manually, adding to my value as a DJ.
I still don't have the 'ahh-fresh' sample on vinyl, instead I am using time-coded vinyl and Traktor 3.  I sense a tiny amount of latency, which can have a cool unexpected organic feel to my increasingly exceptional, robotic fader work at the cost of loose needle-to-vinyl timing.  I am not making an excuse for any sloppiness, I know that I am still a little off in timing, however I am a stating with authority that I am tighter than this with straight up vinyl.  Only using my Vestax PDX-2000 on the left, the right table skips too much for now.  I plan to post another track using this sample again in April 2022 for comparison, if it as good as I think will be I will call it, "Oh...fresh!  My ego is writin' checks!

This post is a treated version of the ESSENTIAL hip-hop track from Ultramagnetic MC's, "Poppa Large"
First of all, this is my first time scratching this song and record, this is still just practice using a PDX-1000 and the loop sampler in the DDM4000.  I left everything in, it is UNCUT, and very long, but really shows off my scratching skill at this point in time, also the beat juggling from 6:45 to 7:30 is pretty brain-melty.  The flow is still 100% intact and is in my opinion very listenable.  Kool Keith's voice is very good for scratching!

This is 100% fucking around, I am comfortable with my level of scratching and using some sampler loops, it is time to expand on that idea, this is the first song I abused by pushing the scratch/loop thing to the next level.  Its quite a mess, but the idea of short on the fly loops to scratch against works, especially if its not easy to isolate an instrumental loop.  I WILL tighten this style of Djiing up, and I expect something weird and amazing, go ahead and quote me on that.

New table (NICE Mixars LTA, I LOVE IT)and needle (Ortofon VNL), still ironing sound quality issues out, but felt that I have progressed enough to post a scratch progress report with the old "Ahh, Freshh" sample synonymous with scratching.  Still using Traktor Pro 3 with a Behringer DDM4000 mixer, and an upgraded 'Infinity' crossfader.

Review notes that could be interesting if I actually split it into an ep:
The Third Teenth recording fade out on gameshow audience  -  Cut bass on all tracks not needed
1 - sretch lower high bass, add more synth melodies and pan
2 - power noise beeps sample vox "its over", keep beat add bass hits and some spatial noise
3 - 459 - very basic, continue samples with delay and degradation, CUT 610 to 621, around 640 add repetitive mechanical highs, spice up with some noise
4 - 754 BAASSSSSSS Power noise electro techno. more yelling desperate vox samples pingpong delay, cutups, change up sample at 9, add arp keys at 929, 1010 add beeps
5 -  cut 1330 -  1352 - big live drums with distorted carrier tone and noisy brush highs, good development, beeps, gets big beat dub breaks OPEN BOOK, GUITAR?, ADD DRUMS? 16 has noise 1617 add beeps back
6 - 1630 nice steady distorted break with rimshot 2nd rhythm  beat gets more impact, and delayed, arps, SCRATCHING? 1850 breakdown add new sample (maybe nonsense insane ) sweepy high alarm like keys byouu byou, 2039 fade in scary bassy vocal chanting
7 2100 lead in wih scray vox chant - add ethnic world religious shit, add screams after 22ish
