📖 About the song:
New single 'Hey Mister' from Montreal indie-folk band RedFox gives off a vibrant energy that is sprinkled with drops of melancholy and self reflection. The song is about watching people's lives pass by, but more specifically about witnessing people struggle and the difficulties one encounters feeling helpless as they watch these people fall. The idea is that one wants nothing more than to be a support for those around them, only to realize, they first need to support themselves, and accept their own struggles. Only then can they see more clearly. We hope this song relates to those discovering new aspects of themselves, and new ways of life amidst this pandemic.
