Since moving to Manchester last year, Thomas Oven (he/him) has quickly established himself in the local techno scene. Having found his sound after spending countless nights "studying" at the DBA and White Hotel, he favours tracks that combine hypnotic synths with powerful low ends. Now working with Club Curated to give opportunities to up and coming local DJs, Tom's passion for the underground scene is undeniable.

"Techno is unique as it is both so energetic but so subconscious. One minute you can be dancing so intensely to a track and just a moment later have your mind transported and forget where you even are. Techno allows you to feel how you want to feel in the moment without being beholden to the DJ. Techno leaves just enough space for the listener to fill in the rest."

FANK - Dogtown

KOSO (he/they) began his DJing journey in his hometown of Yangon, where he established himself as a pioneering force in the city’s underground music scene. Best known as the founder of Red Room, a collective and formerly a nightclub, he helped cultivate a space for forward-thinking club culture in Myanmar. 

During his time in Asia, KOSO also brought his sound to regional hotspots, playing in cities like Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City. Known for his diverse selections from across various genres, his signature style can be described as percussive-heavy grooves layered with psychedelic textures. His ability to weave together eclectic influences results in a sound that feels fresh and unpredictable, yet grounded in the energy of the dance floor. 

Now based in Manchester, KOSO is slowly making a name for himself in the local scene, having already played at venues such as DBA and Stage & Radio. He also hosts a monthly radio show, DAT_URA, on Subtle Radio, with plans to evolve it into a party series in the near future.

REYKOR 013 - KOSO

Rosie draws on twenty years of dancefloor experience to deliver hypnotic, dark and trippy techno journeys that build in intensity. Typically found front row with her fan, she now channels that same energy behind the decks, having played for events including Filth and Høl, at Manchester institutions like Soup, The DBA and Stage & Radio. Her sets are immersive, built for heads-down dancers and long, late nights.
