Silk Royal is thrilled to present Silk Remixed 04, the fourth installment of the annual series, featuring various veteran talents and rising stars in progressive. Kicking off the compilation is Nigel Good's jubilant remix of "Sumr" by Dezza & Shoreliners. Fresh off his debut artist album, which reached #1 overall on Beatport, Nigel treats us to a sparkling, complextro-influenced progressive gem, rife with feel-good vibes. Vintage & Morelli, one of the standout artists from Silk's Arrival division, offers a fresh, peak-hour take on "Night Time" by Sound Quelle. A bouncy house rhythm sits below a stormy and evocative lead, punctuated by a haunting vocal sample. The main break is a goosebumps-inducing aural experience, as the vocal motif and piano poignantly coalesce. Aeron Aether's "Synthanelia" still finds a home in our radio and live sets; Jayeson Andel, a breakthrough artist on our imprint, offers a full-on trance stormer with his new rendering, which has received early radio support from Arty. The memorable string themes of the original soar above an adrenalin-fueled, stadium-rocking groove. French talent Matt Fax, another leader of Arrival, offers a new interpretation of one of Silk Royal's early releases, Pconvolve's "Cosmology". As the title implies, celestially-inspired synths transport the listener to the far reaches of the galaxy; a progressive breaks interlude and explosive drop in the latter half of the track are true release highlights. David Broaders closes out the first half of the release with an awe-inspiring interpretation of "Starman" by Gregory Esayan. A thunderous groove resolves into a beautiful piano and string-themed breakdown; these poignant melodies are some of the most enduring from the compilation this year.

New label recruit Illuminor, a rising duo from Australia, add a bit more punch to eleven.five's classic "Pinnacle". A highly innovative groove, as well as new variations on the main piano motif from the original, stand out in this fantastic new version. Trusty label veteran Sundriver offers a driving take on Denis Laurent feat. Kaisa Martina's "All I Need". A vintage lead chord progression, with numerous euphoric synth layers and arpeggios, paves the way for Kaisa's romantic vocal in the breakdown. British sensation Ben Coda, who has contributed in the past to the Silk Remixed series, returns with a peak-hour rendering of Zack Roth's beloved "Tekkadon". A clubby groove crescendoes into the breakdown, where the newly added, trance-influenced lead shines, alongside the memorable original theme. Russian duo Soarsweep, fresh off an EP on parent label Silk Digital, offers another visionary remix; this time, they have accentuated the emotive themes of "Both", originally a collaboration between Blood Groove & Kikis and LTN. Closing out the EP, Harold-Alexis, one of the stars of our chillout division (Silk Sofa), offers a drum & bass rework of Seagrave's "Storm". With bleeding-edge sound design throughout, this emotive track will be appreciated by fans in search of visionary, outside-of-the-box EDM.

Summer Melody presents the full remixes package of Nipika and Haris V.'s Constellations / Staying Strong EP. After showcasing two different approaches on each tracks of the EP, the full package is now been revealed with two more additional remixers, and the inclusion of Haris V.'s version to conclude the release.

The full remixes package includes the previously released Inner Voice and myni8hte remixes, as well as Haris V.'s version from the initial EP release. And to round off, we have two more remixes from talented artists for each tracks once again.

Starting off with one of the most anticipated artist debuts of the label, we are glad to welcome uprising chill and melodic house producer Cloudcage, remixing the title track. With only three years worth of releases, Cloudcage has been on the heights of the melodic progressive, including several collaborations with the veteran producer Mango, appearing on labels such as Monstercat Silk, Enhanced Chill, Rewoven, Synth Collective and Emergent, as well as experimenting with genres and styles under other aliases. The remix put him back to the roots of his signature melodic sounds: simple bassline, melodic plucks, and wonderful atmospherics of pads and arps. It is also his balanced mellow and upbeat equilibrium makes his style pure and unique. Definitely worth the wait for him to arrive on Summer Melody, and we already cannot wait for another one in the future.

On the other hand, we also glad to have the melodic talent Shion Hinano returning gracefully, with the remix on Staying Strong. This remix marks the return of Shion Hinano after a slight break in releases, as delivering his own origins and signature style into the remix wonderfully, provides a different contrast to Inner Voice's version: upbeat yet light, and more melodically emphasised, as he provides his own arp and melodic approach into the remix, which is certainly smooth and easy-listening.

As we wind down the release schedule for 2015, a few standout tracks from Shingo Nakamura & Max Flyant's "Only Silk 03" compilation (released earlier in the year) are finally seeing the light, in full (unmixed) form. On the heels of last week's "Tribute, Chapter II" release from the same compilation, we enthusiastically present LTN & Kokai feat. Arielle Maren's soulful "Just Believe," including a brand new remix by venerable Latvian duo Blood Groove & Kikis.

Teaming up on our imprint for the first time since the triumphant "The Underground Sound," LTN & Kokai once again proffer a deep, emotive musical touch on the Original Mix of "Just Believe." To infuse the soundscape with a heartfelt lead element, they've recruited rising American vocalist Arielle Maren, whose delicate, vulnerable, and exceedingly beautiful voice lends itself perfectly to the tender lyrical content and surrounding instrumentation.

Blood Groove & Kikis, as to be expected from the groove & melody maestros, offer a more uptempo and uplifting rendering. A "vintage" progressive house rhythm in the early going carries the listener into the first verse and, ultimately, the thrilling breakdown, where the lead chords are met by Arielle Maren's poignant refrain. The phenomenal cast of musicians involved on this release have delivered a highly memorable vocal house single; we're extremely honored to finally share it with our community.

With a great touch, both of them, how to build dreamy melodic progressive music, they once more prove their skills with this beauty. For those of you, familiar with the guys, know that they are all about chord progressions and smooth melody driven textures and here they bring on the full plethora as always. 

To spice the release even further, we brought opn 2 familiar names to the label as we start of in canada, with long time PHW veteran Andrew Lang joining back on the label. Being a force almost from the start on our label, we are of course always thrilled to see him back. As always he delivers in full flare with brilliant touch. With an energy boost here built, we see him keeping a lot of the melodies, he share his true emotion of building pounding trance elements to his progressive productions. We couldn’t have asked for more (how many times is that said about this man), as he bring his A-game back again. 

We are also delighted to see another return on the label from Argentinas Juan Portel, more known to us all through Musty moniker. Fluid melodic arrangements with his well selected own ideas is to bring on his full artillery of sparkling melodies and harmonies. It’s a full on beach walk produced by him, as we are taken to sun drenched beaches and sunny skies.

This is the final release in Thomas Schumachers break out Natural Rhythm trilogy on Noir Music. Not only did he position himself on the top of the charts with the first two releases but he also put his name straight in the spotlight and into the dj-sets of many of the top players in the techno scene.

So whats the next move when you have great success and peoples attention ?For both Noir Music and Thomas Schumacher its a no-brainer; You take it one step further and keep challenging yourself and your audience.

The opener Stella on this release is an example of just that. A very emotional string-led track accompanied by relentless techno beats, distorted arppeggios and a big cinematic break to make you pull your hair out from pure joy (i know i almost did).
Persistence is a mesmerising acid-journey that digs deeper and deeper in its intensity as it evolves into one of Thomas Schumachers signature breaks. Then the track takes an unexpected turn through a more complex, dynamic rhythm before resolving back together with its contagious 303 theme.

Its another 2-tracker from Thomas Schumacher where I feel I signed two a-sides as he just keeps making quality music the way only he knows how. It puts a smile on my face every time I play these tracks in the clubs around the globe and I hope it will please your ears as well.

After a standout 2020 which saw Matt Fax release his second album 'Progressions' and put together a mix for Volume Two of Colorize's 'Colorscapes' compilation, he returns for his first releases of 2021.

This three-track EP showcases Matt Fax's diversity as a producer, one who's only getting better with each release. 'Atlas' is a stellar, synth-heavy romp - a classic Matt Fax production that is punchy and direct. 'Lyra' follows with its bouncier rhythms and more ethereal vibe, and he closes with the deeper and more airy 'Shuttle'. It's a triumph from Matt Fax here on Colorize!

Caweh Passereh more commonly known as Capa is without doubt one of the most exciting, creative and inspirational progressive producers in the current dance music scene.
Residing in Stockholm – Sweden (where there seems to be something in the water with melodic producers) Capa brings a wealth of experience in terms of production; Early support from Toolroom Records and a co production credit on the massive Icona - Pop project really signalled the start of a very inspiring career for this creative talent. The desire and demand to learn new skills and styles is also somewhat important to Caweh; a qualification in sound engineering means that he is able to utilise techniques and processes and apply them to modern day productions.
2014 saw the focus and creation of several brand new solo projects, focusing on his signature sound, the “Capa” progressive; Big soaring leads, floating arps, 80’s inspired bass lines and the clever use of vocal samples. When complete these records really are candidates for “future classics”.
With the powerful support from Annie Mac, Pete Tong & Danny Howard on Radio 1 (described as “pure talent, alongside the likes of Eric Prydz & Grum”), A -list DJ’s Above & Beyond, Armin Van Buuren and many more; Capa is firmly on the radar of many within the music industry and amongst avid progressive fans around the world. As a result Caweh has had the honour to remix Digitalism, BT, Super 8 & Tab, DJ Fresh and more!
It is easy to understand why there is such a buzz around this super talent. Expect some high profile releases in 2015 under Anjunabeats, Armada Trice & Zerothree. (With a few unexpected surprises also on their way..).
