To reach a milestone 300th release is a bit special, and something very special is needed in honour of that achievement...
Step up one of the world's finest DJ's and producers, Mr Hernan Cattaneo, and progressive house superstar Marcelo Vasami.
Here we take their superb production "Scope", originally released a couple of years ago on Hernan's "Balance presents Sunsetstrip" compilation and give it the Framewerk Remix treatment. Three unique interpretations; from the sultry smooth "On Balance" mix, to the synth laden "Full On" mix, to the deep foreboding "Intro" mix we feel there is something here for anyone in love with progressive house, breaks or electronica.

Here we take their superb production 'Scope', originally released a couple of years ago on Hernan's 'Balance presents Sunsetstrip' compilation and give it the Framewerk Remix treatment. The sultry smooth 'On Balance' mix takes the hypnotic rolling synth lines from the original and adds warm strings, haunting vocals and ethereal sweeps to produce a cross-genre rewerk, encompassing breaks, electronica, chillout and progressive.

Little did anyone think, that when we started this series, it would grow into what you see now. Delivering an exclusive mix on a weekly basis, from a range of DJ's & artists, headliner's, label bosses, industry legends, up and coming talent and even our own members. The series has grown from strength to strength, gaining recognition from the highest levels of power within our scene, raising a few eyebrows along the way.

It seemed only right to mark such a prestigious occasion as this by delivering a mix that will go down in history. Always keen to top what's come before, the Progcast this week features arguably one of THE biggest names in our world right now... FRAMEWERK!

Framewerk (aka Darren James and Alec Milliner) have been long establishing an eclectic electronic style that defies genres yet maintains a deep distinctive atmosphere throughout all their music. With influences ranging from 70’s prog rock to 80’s electro, the duo both found a home in the UK acid house scene of the late 80’s and later joined together to form the group “Manhattan” during the mid-90’s progressive house era. 

These decades of dedicated development and unrelenting passion have kept Darren and Alec continuously at the forefront of the underground electronic music scene. Their work today as “Framewerk” showcases their diverse styles and innate abilities to create and share music that represents the best of the golden eras with a fresh, modern sound all their own.

Using their understanding of quality music to run their well-established imprint Capital Heaven, Framewerk continue to influence the industry with their unique perspective.
