I remember the feeling I had when I first heard this on the radio when I was a kid riding the bus home from middle school. That rush that you get when you hear a song and know instantly it's gonna be on repeat until you know every word by heart. When my manager hit me up asking me to flip this I was ecstatic but also anxious about doing the song justice. I wanted to hit that sweet spot of nostalgia without simply re-hashing what was already there, as amazing as the original is. So after 3 different version I finally bottled that lightning of youth and innocence into this one. Makes me smile and feel like im a kid again scouring limewire for catchy emo music to burn on a mix cd for my crush who probably didn't know my name anyway. I hope it makes you feel that way too
