THIS WAS EXACTLY 2 YEARS AGO FROM TODAY (I didnt realize this until the video was uploaded) anyway, CRAZY right??

Matt and I were about to go see Sasha play and decided to get in the mood with drum machines! This was when we lived in Amsterdam and Matt has a fetish for fast techno and the number 151, so guess what BPM this track is in! Not exactly the kind of BPM Sasha plays (at least not since ’95 anyway) but the gig was fun even if it didn’t reach the hardcorededness of our apartment jam…

To get from the subway to my apartment I have to walk down a hill. I say have to, but really I get to, because it’s actually really relaxing and full of nature. At night the street lamps make it look like you are walking through a weird tunnel with all these trees overhead and it’s quite an experience. With this inspiration in mind I plugged in some gear (whatever was most accessible at the moment) and tried to capture the moment. The song is probably a bit too long, but just like the path when jamming with gear you get tunnel vision and forget what you are doing. It’s really fun to jam for 14 minutes, maybe its at least almost as fun to listen to it for 14 minutes…
