Berlin based DOXA drops his EP2. A perfectly formed 5 tracker, walking through experimental forms, glitch, atmospherics and ambient soundscapes.

The EP opens with Ombudsman's almost dystopian horn work and exquisitely constructed emotional space, backed by a burnt out set of drums that bed the piece in an eerie reality.

Hypnagogia is a glitched out passage of time, metronomic found sound percussion backs deft guitar work that continues into the next more sparsely populated Posterity.

Heavy keys and complex tonal work dominate Spit on the Altar. Pipe overtones almost come thru in the organ sound but with a more down to earth texture and feeling.

The EP closes with The Old Fear feels like horror brought closer with the stripped bare beat bringing everything into a more intimate space.

DOXA is a new solo artist currently operating out of Berlin making experimental excursions into dance music, glitch, noise, ambient soundscapes and anything in-between. 
Stretching, weaving and mixing a multitude of influences DOXAs music is full of different textures and soundscapes with an underpinning of otherworldly emotions. 

Artist Quote: "DOXA EP2 been a slow burning process of discovery, experimentation and refinement during a a particularly transitional time. It was written in Wellington,New Zealand, Mixed in Melbourne Australia and polished in Berlin. This EP has been an exploration into mixing and matching all my influences into something cohesive and hopefully new."

who can only be destroyed
by a cross the color of white skin.
We create a laxative
that induces vomiting.
We name it after the capital of Peru
and tint it with the color of the natives.
We started a comic book campaign.
For 15 years in advance,
we condition children
to hate the future enemy.
In 15 years these children
will go off to war,
to kill Peruvians with pleasure.
