After meeting playing on the same bill in 2022, Globular & Merkäta formed a friendship. After a chat and conversation, they agreed a remix was in the works. 

Originally released in 2016, An Upwards Curve In The Horizon is a true journey, and Merkäta's dnb flip of this tune really echoes that.

To kick off this new series of Resident Mixes we are gassed to have Katalyst’s  resident mix up first!! With some incredible flavours of Jungle, Jump Up and energetic rollers, this mix from start to finish, is UNREAL!! A proper showcase of the incredible talent of Katalyst!

This year saw the spotlight turn to Katalyst's production which has already been supported on BBC Radio 1 by Jeremiah, Charlie Tee and Jaguar. Not only having her music showcased on national radio, she was also invited to do a guest mix for the Radio 1 Drum and Bass show enabling her to present a wide variety of mixing styles and tracks. 
Not only has her music been widely supported by the Drum and Bass community, her DJ sets have blown people away at Iconic venues and festivals such as Drum Sheds, Outlook and Glastonbury festival. 
In true Katalyst fashion, she enters 2024 with a bang - completing a mentorship with EQ50 and Ram Records, and an artillery of releases under her belt. These include a collab with Deekline, and working with well respected vocalists such as Natty Campbell and Madrush Mc. This year's Katalyst's release schedule is looking busier than ever, but she doesn't stop there! Securing a new role as A&R Coordinator for Jungle Cakes and Gorilla Warefare. She becomes fully submerged behind the scenes, gaining more knowledge in the music industry to propell her own career as well as other artists...
2024 - Watch this space! It's clear that her very particular blend of talents has the potential to offer us a twist on the formula we've never quite heard before.

LEM B2b FEDGE (TEKNO)

As part of reaching 3000 followers on here I decided I wanted to do something a little different than just recording a long mix or creating a couple tunes like I always do. 

Instead I thought of the idea of making this mix to show the evolution of Techstep / Neurofunk. This mix is all done in a chronological order starting from 1997 all the way up to 2024. I had a lot of fun doing this so I hope you all enjoy it too!

My latest creation "Dope" was made using sound design I've been working on, I've tried to implement minimal style synths and stabs but with a heavy-weight roller sub and Reece bass to keep the momentum. I complemented it with some old school vocal samples from the movie Reefer Madness for a bit of fun. Enjoy!

Greetings and welcome to our 9th release!!
This time we get on board Speaker Louis, producer based in London who brings the fire with two tunes in his genuine style.

First tune called "Do It Right" is a colab with Lyah, singer who has voiced another tunes for himself and contributes with a sweet melody to the Dubwize tune. Essential ammunition for your summer playlists.
On the flip side "For the People" goes a bit tougher and with a "roller" vibe, perfect to burn up the dancefloor.
