Slender Man

ENDGAME is an 8 track mini-LP coming on both 12” vinyl and digital versions. The sound of this release filters WARSNARE’s familiar eclectic style through a lens focused on the accelerating destruction of civilization. Split down the middle with 2 versions of every song, unique ‘Solitude’ and ‘Mass’ takes on all tracks it is bold, bassy, cinematic and could be his most intricate work yet. 

WARSNARE emerges from the creative melting pot that is South East London, carving out a unique sound from the remains of pop culture. Having produced soundtracks for award-winning short films and AV installations, as well as an arsenal of releases with the ‘Eris EP’ (Shades, 2012) and the ‘Brutalist EP’ (Seclusiasis, 2013) WARSNARE produces music impossible to pin down. 

The first single taken from the mini-LP was Children With Feet Of Giants (Mass), which flexed its rhythmic muscles around indigenous tribal sounds and UK garage instincts in August, and received support from XLR8R, Do Androids Dance, Slick Shoota, Ana Sia, Mat the Alien and many more. After the mini-LP release, we’ll be following up with a sick video for Megatribe.

In 2014 WARSNARE, aka Daniel Potter,  has been developing his audio-visual stronghold, producing soundtracks as Daniel Potter for Brazilian animators Maria Leite and Daniel Herthel, due in the winter.  His work for Visitor Studio’s ‘Our Futures Ltd’ is also currently touring film festivals worldwide. An unabashed blurring of the cinematic and the downright woozy, his work combines shards of disembodied R&B, footwork, House, Old School, Garage and whatever else takes his fancy. WARSNARE has remixed the likes of The Twilight Sad, Fybe:one and Breton, and Affelaye.
