Dilicious is energised by good music across several genres. 20 years ago she extended her many creative talents learning 'the wheels of steel'– the catalyst that truly ignited her love of dance music and performing as a DJ, which has now grown into a life-long passion. Meltdown Records is proud to have supported her first track release, Speechless (je suis sans voix) and we know she has several other original track releases in the pipeline for 2023.

Dilicious' early DJ career included vinyl sets played at Fevah, Farhenheit, and Cheeky Chicks (to name a few). During an 8-year stint playing house and electro at gigs in London, she ticked off a big bucket-list item, playing a set at Ministry of Sound in 2010 supporting Roger Sanchez. After moving back from the UK, she has been on the DJ line-up for events across New Zealand, Melbourne, Rarotonga & Fiji. Highlights include Vinyl Warriors and Dirty Laundry in Wellington, the 2021-22 AUM NYE Festival, Rejuvenate, Wine & Vibes on Waiheke Island, and several Lockdown Legends birthday and Xmas gigs – including two in Melbourne last year.

Di has a strong passion across the groovy house, deep tech, dark techno, and higher-energy hard house bpms. Her energy is guaranteed to get people moving on the d-floor. Twitch livestreaming also opened up a realm of possibility for this highly creative DJ to showcase what she's capable of with graphic design and video editing. 

In 2021, alongside two other talented and like-minded DJs, she launched Lucid Underground.

Say Yes 2020 is so immense it took almost a year to release! But as you can hear, we are ready to deliver such Cathedral worthy scripture, of Tinrib’s massive 22-year-old vinyl release. (Those spinning round discs.)

After six months in the monastery, Weirdo has completed the latest scripture, updating his masterpiece from 1998, Say Yes (If You Understand Me?), was written to raise clown nipple hairs for those who believe in the ways of the Weirdo’s euphoric sound, causing hair loss havoc from rushes across the land, where we embraced Monk dressed ravers flocking to our Superfish! events in London.

Another six months saw 2020 in, with Weirdo’s art presented in its best form possible, and the final master the focus. Pirate HQ’s big sound is back, and we were able to select the ultimate piece of sonic art.

We are on day three waiting for Spark, with only sonar available. :) (No phone and no internet is quite interesting. We all should do it now and then.)  

A recording of my Techno skirmish at the Christchurch Fetish Ball 2020 on 14th November 2020 in New Zealand.
A dip into the lighter shades of Techno and a journey into the harder shades to see how far they could go. One Hour and forty five minutes seemed to be the limit this night, where I had a request for Billy Elfish, and handbraked to Chasing Cars vocals to grab ‘em back! While I like to keep building, we have to play to a wider audience here in New Zealand!  
This event's main focus was Fetishism and some interesting characters were seen, full of stage shows. 
With a few starts and stops for the stage shows, we miss a few sections here, this is covered by my Warmup Techno mix which I did not include as I feel a continuous mix without gaps is more appropriate for soundcloud.
I started here for 30 mins, then onto this mix:

A big thanks to Glenn Rossiter (the legendary DJ Defender), who makes a huge effort to put on this yearly show. We had a 7K sound system and full stage lighting with lasers. No corners cut.
After 15 years in New Zealand I finally made the gig! Thanks for the invite to play this music, the experience, and hope you all enjoyed the music.

I hope you liked this mix of my favourite Techno music I deemed suitable to Fetish Ball 2020 clientele, including a fair few of my new tracks and remixes made especially for the event.

Beginning was on full bore to lure em in, and immediately go to sailors hornpipe played at Newmarket. Early Horse Shuffle.
The Captain believed he was playing to no one (playing with himself?), so went light early to build 'er up. Luckily an notorious rave specialist who could see, perked this Navigator of the One and Twos up. We knew what is what but did not strut. It was like a blur.

Short dick is whatever you get/ make from it. This was played upstairs at Madisons, Bournemouth where the birds hang out. Always a crowd pleaser or confuser. WATCH OUT - Belly Buttons Operating. :) 

4 hours 44mins is playing for the crowd, knowing the Raver Speed would be just too much, for the mountain goats entering the room tackling treacherous weather. :)
