These four tracks present a sumptuous array, the layers and renderings of this familiar, yet rarely attended realm; eddying microcosms and dizzying currents. Alas, it’s an illusion, a matrix thrown over the workings of the reverie, which unveils a virtual panorama of digital organics. By Spirit Animal we arrive back in our reality; data informs these murmurings, these chirrups and twitterings; in the future world data is the lingua franca of the imaginary swamp and the fictional jungle. Everyone has their particular nook. That cozy little corner or small safe area where we can sit and be sheltered from the senselessness and meaninglessness that surrounds us.  

Suski (aka Susanna Nuutinen) is a Helsinki based DJ and co-founder of the Electronic Market collective. A deep appreciation for the underground and all things arcane have been the cornerstones of her years of involvement in the local music scene. Operating with an intuitive and curious approach, Suski's voyager-like explorations demonstrate a yearning for deepness and trippy mind travel. Her reverence for unity and shared experiences creates a wrapping in which uncanny, striking and celestial sonic forces meet in places like Helsinki's Kaiku and Post Bar as well as cities across Europe. Furthermore, Suski's episodes at IDA Radio showcase her unalloyed enjoyment of musical diversity, resulting in a hazily soothing hurdle of emotions.

For this particular chapter, Susanna tells us: ‘the inspiration for this mixtape is an imaginary forest walk with my dog Nook - that kind of trip that makes you calm down.

Tremendous long cloud collossuses roll above humanity's heads with an unbelievable speed at the north Australian Gulf of Carpentaria during spring time. This special event is never forgotten by the ones who experienced this huge and very unique spectacle.

Most humans tend to forget where their roots really originate. But once in a while nature comes up with new events like this to remind us where we really come from. Our physical bond with this planet will never break, since we all turn into soil as soon as we leave our bodies.
To intensify our understanding of it, this compilation series looks into several special nature phenomenas and let various artists of different disciplines make an interpretation with their own picture of the phenomena in their individual creative language.

The whole creative concept is based on the principal of the ‚Chinese Whispers‘ game.
So Kwasu Tembo (writer and musician) started the whole process with a lyrical text about this phenomenon which was passed on to four visual artists - Dycide, MTRL, Ohneweil and Polygonia.
Each of them created an artwork based on their synaesthetical impression of Kwasu's words, and after that, were handed to the musicians Foreign Material, Infinity, Javier Marimon and Olorun. These artists crafted four auditive masterpieces arising from their visual impression of the digital designs. Synaesthesia is a very powerful tool to grasp coherences which are not easily explained. It can create inner feelings and associations on the observer‘s side, which are much more accurate than any scientific explanation.

Moonlight Resort & Spa is a project of two musicians - @michalwolski and Tomasz Zając known as @cafedelajungle.

"Aromatherapy", the duo's first full-length album, is a radical vision of timeless background music that draws you in so strongly that what's in the foreground loses its focus and color. It's a ruthless vision of "elevator music" that makes us disembark on a different floor of a different world than we originally expected.

"Aromatherapy" consists of four classical tracks based on the canon of E-shamanic rituals to soothe the body and spirit, and one modern-new-age suite, the components of which bring a 30-minute journey through the vicissitudes of emotions and states of mind.

The album is available as a digital release, streaming, and as a humming piece of plastic encased in cassette tape form.

"Aromatherapy" is the 20th anniversary release in the catalog of Minicromusic, a label founded and run by Michał Wolski, which has become a home for exploratory electronics from the techno, ambient and music that doesn't shy away from experimentation.
