11 heads sprout out of the Krug in various variations, always slow – but from dreamy deepness over punching basslines to the ultimate of creakiness; we put the nation in combination!
The melting level has been reached and liquefies the synapses in the shower of sparks of euphoria and lets candyfloss pump instead of heart blood.

For their new studio album, the Cologne-Berlin band envisions a picturesque piece of land in the mountains and by the sea, surrounded by dense forests and vast steppes, ancient ruins and futuristic eco-cities, perfect for skiing, surfing, and playing golf.

In Valonia, only full board can be booked, including cocktails, coffee, and snacks. To guarantee this all-inclusive service, the four musicians have expanded their personnel competently and consistently: The Greek Berliner Evi Filippou brought her entire vibraphone, marimbaphone, and percussion arsenal to the studio and can be heard on all tracks of the album. The Belarusian Cologne resident Oxana Omelchuk appears here and there with her theremins and EMS synthesizers, which are probably older than all band members combined, and in the last piece "Playground," Istanbul native Elif Dikeç makes a cameo appearance, singing in Turkish about gardens and spirits before disappearing like one herself.

Covering other people’s music is a great way to expand your own musical horizons; to explore what makes these compositions tick; and to let them shine in a new and (hopefully) interesting light by giving them your own individual coloring. This is why we always took joy in spicing up our live shows by covering tunes by some of our favorite artists. 
This is a collection of some of them.

Delabole

The Odd Orchestra has once again landed and they’ve brought stories from their time in the sky. This odd group of three soars beyond previous explorations.

Free floating in a blend of techno, dub, jazz and rock they song-write their way through a landscape that is truly their own. Perhaps even more than the critically acclaimed albums released on Get Physical a decade ago, they now expose the rough edges, rendering themselves naked, perhaps even egoless.

Please give a warm embrace to the intoxicating voice of Raz Ohara, the Belgian bohemian Oliver Doerell and guitarist/musical “akurat” Tom Krimi as “The Odd Orchestra”, and dwell into this bundle of delicate electronic tristesse.

In addition to the originals, there’s three remixes included. AMyn takes on Driftwood in his very own r&b manner. The addition of chords and extra melodies shows how the song holds its own in different genres.

Hölle gets an revamp by Berlin locals TRU and Moodfamily’s Beazar. Both approaches are similar, both trying to strip the original song to the bone. Where Beazar distills a pertinent groove in the remix, TRU delivers an excellent bonedry beatless version of Hölle, oozing with drama and terrific contrasts.
