For their new studio album, the Cologne-Berlin band envisions a picturesque piece of land in the mountains and by the sea, surrounded by dense forests and vast steppes, ancient ruins and futuristic eco-cities, perfect for skiing, surfing, and playing golf.

In Valonia, only full board can be booked, including cocktails, coffee, and snacks. To guarantee this all-inclusive service, the four musicians have expanded their personnel competently and consistently: The Greek Berliner Evi Filippou brought her entire vibraphone, marimbaphone, and percussion arsenal to the studio and can be heard on all tracks of the album. The Belarusian Cologne resident Oxana Omelchuk appears here and there with her theremins and EMS synthesizers, which are probably older than all band members combined, and in the last piece "Playground," Istanbul native Elif Dikeç makes a cameo appearance, singing in Turkish about gardens and spirits before disappearing like one herself.

Originaire de Douarnenez, Chloé aka Petit Pied est résidente de l'association "C'est Ainsi" (716), un sound system du milieu techno alternatif. Elle explore aussi bien la tech house que la techno hypnotique, cherchant à faire vibrer toutes sortes de dancefloors avec des rythmes vitaminés et un groove puissant.

Petit Pied a commencé à mixer en 2020, après avoir été immergée pendant plusieurs années dans l'univers des free parties. Elle a joué dans plusieurs festivals (L'irréductible, Soul Moon, Le Moulin du Son, Queen a man...) et mixé pour plusieurs collectifs (Synchrone, Atsa, Sonic Floor...), sans oublier évidemment les soirées 716.

As he lay down, Minli noticed Dragon’s eyes fade and blur. Chris Goa and Madma are paying their respect to Tuareg. This is their first offering for Shango Records. This track can take you deep in the Sahara desert. Ayala (IT) and BK YATRA are looking for the oasis under the lava melting shining Sun!

Covering other people’s music is a great way to expand your own musical horizons; to explore what makes these compositions tick; and to let them shine in a new and (hopefully) interesting light by giving them your own individual coloring. This is why we always took joy in spicing up our live shows by covering tunes by some of our favorite artists. 
This is a collection of some of them.

The Hexx

There is a lot of wonderful art in the world, created by a large number of even more wonderful humans. However, in the process of creating, we might need help in the form of guidance, reassurance and fair critics. One person on this planet providing this kind of help is Daensen (@lsdaensen). Huddled against a group of like-minded people, he sits there, calm and compassionate, providing company on their path of creation. We can only guess the number of works we enjoyed in which he played a part, as it's his nature to remain hidden behind the curtains. So today we are even more happy to present to you fruits of his very own labour.
