Originally composed in 2002 and then later adapted for release with LAAG on vocals. The track itself showed up first on a compilation called AXC Labs in 2004, which was a Goth/Insustrial/EBM comp. This original instrumental gives you a taste of what @commuter would soon become known for. Pulsing arpeggios, clean production/mastering, and a knack for producing music that drives people crazy on the dancefloor.

Rolando Simmons lives in a desolate coastal town of Sweden and divides his time between a creaky old townhouse and two rural homes. The dreamlike environment of meadows, grasslands, hills and lakes, combined with his fascination for Drexciya, AFX and Isao Tomita inspired Rolando to make this odd fairy tale music. 

Similar to his heroes, Rolando uses a bunch of hardware: Alisa 1387, MS-20, MC-4, SQ-1, Blofeld, Machinedrum, TX-7, 606, Poly-800, Filterbank 2, VSR-3 reverb which all ends up in Renoise. Other inspirations include Sibylle Baier, Jandek, Vashti Bunyan and Debussy.

For this 250th Premiere of 2020, we have a track by the Producer from Poland  "Robodrum" from the upcoming EP "Kind Of Dark" [BT093] on the UK label : Biotech Recordings.

Biotech Recordings was founded in 2011 by UK Techno & Electro artist Darkmode. The aim of the label is support the Electro & Techno scene by releasing music by artists who are fighting to keep the Electro & Techno scene alive. This label won’t be following any musical trends or fads it’s only going to release good quality music.
