Uptown is our second self-produced lockdown release in 4 weeks. It’s a high-octane indie rock song with lush, melodic picked guitar lines and a pounding rhythm section. The song was originally co-written with our friends and former band mates Pete Bunting and Dave McGill. Bruce has developed the lyrics and vocal parts, and made them his own.

Bedford-based five piece Carbon Daydreams write their own brand of melodic, high-tempo indie music, featuring infectious guitar hooks and disco-inspired rhythms to get you dancing. Formed during the summer of 2021, the band have steadily built a local following through support slots at local venues such as Bedford Esquires and The Craufurd Arms, and summer festivals. Having released their debut EP Harbour Nights in 2023, the band are currently writing their second EP which promises to unhesitatingly push the best elements of their unique sound in new directions.
