“Life Underwater” started out as a generative-music experiment, but it quickly evolved into an electronic tale about the life that is happening beneath the waters of the world.

This tune is about expressing the atmosphere of a certain location/environment. Ambient and electronic music played a big role during the arrangement stage.

Story time(about Drifter's Dance):
Some time ago, my friend told me about indie video games called Deltarune and Undertale.

When I started playing, I fell in love with the soundtracks.

Tunes such as "Death by Glamour" and "Fields of Hopes and Dreams" immediately got me inspired to write this piece of music.

"Flutter" was inspired by the eponymous track from Brian Eno's work called "Another Green World."

You may see the similarities when it comes to rhythm and atmosphere (which, by the way, is a little 'bigger' here).

Late-Night Walk

This track represents the need to break free and live one's life to the fullest. This is a hard thing to do for most of us, especially now, during the raging pandemic and lockdowns in numerous countries. 

I spoke with people and some of them have a really hard time dealing with the above. Nevertheless, it's necessary, because we have to protect one another.

Musically inspired by my recent mountain trip. However, at the beginning this track was completely different - just random piano notes played over drone sounds, as in "Thursday Afternoon" by Brian Eno. Maybe I'll do something like that later, but this time I had a need to record something more "structured". Also, I feel I'm not ready yet for making real ambient music as in, for instance, "Music for Airports" oraz "On Land". 

The piano melody and the chord changes just popped up in my head when I sat down to work on the track after the mountain trip. Also, it kind of reminds me of "The Big Ship" by Eno.

As always, I hope the mix doesn't suck too hard (I really struggled here, many evenings spent on figuring out what the problem with the sound was xD) and you'll have a great time while listening to this track.
